Usually shopto.net send confirmation that they have posted it and it arrives the next day, so hopefully, i could get it Thursday, if not Friday at the latest.

Last time I checked, Shopto.net and Play.com already had the games in stock, in their warehouses.DarkHod wrote...
No, don't be. As that means exactly what it says - EA haven't sent HMV the copies yet. Suppliers won't receve the game til tomorrow earliest.
Also, my Play.com order is currently "Processing in warehouse", it would be hard for them to do that if they didn't have the stock in

If you do get it on Thursday, will you be able to use the DLC codes then or have to wait until Friday?jack3auer wrote...

Looks like GAME are on the verge of closure.
Better use my trade-in card, got 20 quid on that. Feel pretty bad for the people that are on the verge of losing their jobs, been there myself when Royal Mail closed my office.

Oh wow. From what I understand it wasn't even really their fault for not reaching an agreement with EA.
That kinda sucks

I have £25 on mine, I think I am going to buy some Microsoft points. I want buy I am Alive and save the rest for any Mass Effect 3 DLC 's that come around.

Yeah, I'm thinking of using my £5 'goodwill' voucher with the rest of my points to get the Skyrim strategy guide, simply so I can use them up.
I don't think anyone is actually happy to hear of people about to lose their jobs, but GAME have been heading this way a long time, and they really haven't helped themselves with either the publishers or the customers. GAME isn't getting anything more then it actually deserves.

You just reminded me about I am Alive; it looks really good! Think I might get points too.

I'm afraid it is really their own fault - they had the industry over a barrel for ages with the pre-owned situation, effectively saying 'we will keep doing this and you'll let us or we won't stock your game'. Now the cap is on the other foot and EA, Ubi et al simply aren't interested in extending them credit - they've only got themselves to blame, really.

Hang on, so who's to blame here. I thought it was GAME's fault. My mate who works for game said it was to do with credit notes and EA not excepting them. Well GAME is in a lot of debt at the moment.

Did you order online, or instore. I am ordered in-store so I am going down there tomorrow to get my £5 deposit back and my free £5. If you pre-ordered online I think they sent you an e-mail. Not quite sure though.

It is GAME's fault. They're in debt in the first place because they were just totally uncompetitive. Now they're credit is becoming bad as a result and the publishers simply don't believe they'll pay their debts, so they haven't come to deal with GAME - and hence, they're distributing through other retailers.
The thing is, GAME are a specialist retailer. They don't have the option of simply not stocking big releases. They're in a vicious circle at the moment and its unlikely they'll get back out.

It will be a shame to see GAME go though, however if they do close down (likely) then hopefully someone like GameStop will buy them.

Anyone that pre-ordered from HMV can you post when you don't have "Item pre-ordered - not yet issued by supplier"
Thanks.
Will do!
I saw that we also get the warfare pack and the t shirt. That's some very good news. Now i am hoping to ship the order before Friday so i can have it next week.
P.S. Can't believe how fast the time passed since the first trailer. And now we are a few days before the release:happy:

I used Express Delivery so fingers crossed I will get it March 9th. Also I am going into HMV tomorrow so I will ask them if they are doing any other pre-order bonuses. If they are I will let you know. Should we all get the Argus Rifle as well?

This, how can it be possible that a "SPECIALIST RETAILER" is dearer than practically everywhere else. this christmas we were getting our son a 3DS, game was the WORST deal on the market. HTF do you get like that?JaegerBane wrote...

Simply bad management and lack of knowledge of the gaming market I suppose.
