Everyone should just calm down there not supposed to Dispatch them till tomorrow RTNs was just lucky they cocked up and sent his, ive only heard of one other person whos had theirs Dispatched.

Always a chance they put it on hold for a day so it doesnt get there to early before release day, has been know to happen. Altho its pretty rare.

have said as much about tuesday dispatched pre-orders already in this very thread I think, that they sometimes turned up on a thursday. even with first class. but as long as I get it I'll be happy:innocent:

Yeah you go back a few pages on the thread this had been posted a few times but still doesnt stop folk refreshing like crazy to see if there orders changed.

What would be the point royal mail still won't pick them up till morning surely?

Yeah they wont be sent till morning nowim sure a good few will breath a sigh of releif when the orders start being processed.

Well i beleave most post moves around the country at night anyway so perhaps it will just be picked up and taken to sorting place.

I have no real idea as to the ins and outs of how it all works.

It depends on the courier. Each will have different working practices and contracts with the retailers. But yes, on the whole, packages do tend to move around overnight, but again, dependent on the courier. it's not uncommon to see something picked up in the early hours, or late at night. But even when something says "shipped" it could just mean it left their warehouse and went down to wherever packages get picked up from, waiting to be picked up at a more reasonable hour.

When all is said and done though .... you'll get the game. No point getting worked up over a few hours here, or a day there.

No no, I think you overshot the part where the bank guy reassured me they declined payment on that. Anyway I shall still be seeking answers as the why they thought to charge me £18 even after they had the temerity to cancel my pre-orders.


Anyway, we move ever closer to happy dance time. I, for one, shall be stocking up mightily from my local supermarket. Then I am forced to be at classes on Monday. <_<

Nocturnal gnomes sort the post and magic it off to wherever it needs to go for delivery vans to pick it up. Its all very simple and magical. Until EA or GAME get involved, they are not on good terms with the gnomes as the gnomes had Street Fighter x Tekken pre-ordered and GAME let them down. EA aren't on good terms with anyone really.

Yes after two cancelled N7 Editions and the stress of waiting to see if Amazon actually post me a copy I've given up on reality until I get my game.

Not under EA's watchful eye it won't pal. Sure they don't give two farts about who or what gets the CE's, but on the issue of releasing before the date, *ahem* YOU SHALL NOT PASS!

The thing is, I also have an order on Amazon, which was the one I wanted to keep but when I went to cancel my Play.com order they had already started processing it in the warehouse, so I couldn't.... But the fact that I'm not getting anything from Amazon either concerns me... I'll send the Play.com one back when I receive it - I don't think my morals will allow me to flog it on eBay.... that is, if either turn up

Well it's being dispatched on wednessday so with first class posting it should hopfully arive the next day.
