Well for PC at least if its treated the same as the Origin Digital version you can use VPN to unlock it, Most Origin users or at least the ones who know how to use it are already playing the game.

well both my preorders for 360 and PC n7 are Processing in Warehouse with my Walkthrough guide having been dispatched via Hermes (I ordered through Play.com)

Yes I got a guide cos I was so happy to find them anywhere at the time lol. I really really hope they arrive on time even though I will be down the town signing in at the Jobcentre...mores the pity.

Also zavvi haven't taken my money(yet), although I'm not hopeful because Gamestop did exactly that, and then said they oversold. I may end up with an extra copy after all that fighting and scrapping, because I was in a bit of a frenzy to secure one. I don't know how the returns policy works, but I'd be more than willing to offload my extra copy of the CE at cost, preferably within London. Otherwise I'd better start looking up returns policies.

Yeah I got a digital version today while I wait for the CE to arrive, used the VPN to unlock it. (Yeah I know, I couldn't even wait three more days ).

Registered it on a fresh Origin account though so I'll just give the account to a friend on Thursday/Friday.

I considered doing that, then I decided I'd try to finish off my third ME2 playthrough before ME3 arrives - this one would even have my choices from ME1 (I played ME2 before I got ME1).

All I've got to do now is hope that Play dispatch my copy today so I can stop worrying about it not being sent.

Hmm, not sure, I don't think so.
Unless, you like, leave a note on your door, but I'm not sure they would do it - it would be a  nightmare if it got stolen.

It's wierd, mine dispatched at 10 this morning.  Maybe it's because it has to make it up to Scotland?

My copy from Amazon still hasn't started the process for dispatch yet, it seems. However, I imagine thats just because Prime delivery means that they don't have to mail it out as quickly to make sure it arrives.

I got in within the first five hours of the 'crisis' so I doubt its anything that will be a problem.

If I don't get it on Friday I won't get to play it until Sunday afternoon, I'm away for most of the weekend. Saying that, I'll likely be drunk for the majority of it and its a well-known fact that time occurs at roughly 3 times the normal rate when hammered, so it doesn't matter

Judging from whats happening with my Play.com and Ebay orders, its likely I may well end up ith two copies. I think I'll be ebaying my extra at cost price. Thats assuming I'll have an extra

Re Game's difficulties, it's karma for them buying out gameplay and then shutting them down deliberately to get rid of a competitor.

People should try amazon for their pre-orders.
