I've switched my pre-order from Amazon to Shopto when Amazon decided to tell me that the Dispatch Day would be tomorrow and I'd get the CE on Saturday.

According to Shopto if you order before 5:30pm they dispatch your order the same day and I've done that, just waiting for the follow up email from them now. Hopefully I've made the right choice. Anyone else done the same and gotten their dispatch emails?

"I can see you placed your order for Mass Effect 3: Collector's Edition PC DVD on the 29 Feb 2012.

However , this Game is being released on the 9 March that the reason why its not yet been dispatched yet. But it will be dispatched on the 8 March and be delivered as planned on the 9 March.

So I went into HMV today to put another £10 down on my deposit for the N7 Edition. Fella looks at me and says " Ah, I'm glad you've come in". I thought " Oh here we go".

Apparently they recieved an email stating that they had been allocated too many copies (five). Now they were only going to get three N7 Editions, even though his stock list told him he was still getting five - go figure. I quickly explained that I was the 2nd person to pre-order, his face changed and he said something along the lines of " Oh fine, you should be safe". Should is probably the key word there.

Basically I need to get my backside in there on Friday morning or I'm going to lose out. He said that they'll just work it out on the morning of the 9th, but some people are going to be let down.

Great.

Well, N7 or no, I'll get my free T-shirt.

just had an amazon live chat and here is what he said

Pavan Kumar:I've further checked with your account and I can see that the order is already in the dispatch process and the shipment id has already been created.17:24:24

Pavan Kumar:I can see that the order must be dispatched by the end of the day and I can assure you the it should be delivered as estimated on March 9, 2012.

The shipment id has been generated so this means that the order is in the last stage of the dispatch, As there have been plenty of orders placed on this game there happens to be a delay in the update of the status.17:27:26

Pavan Kumar:Once the parcel has been generated with the shipment id it has been assigned to the carrier and it will be handed to the carrier sooner.17:28:06

Pavan Kumar:Once the item is dispatched you'll receive an email with all the details.17:28:27

The standard edition i ordered from Tesco is stating dispatched....yes. But it also says with DLC, not sure what DLC though. Is it the argus rifle. Does anybody know as i thought Tesco were not doing any DLC.

It shouldnt be a problem, the post office should be okay with. I wouldnt worry, just as long as your postcode and the correct house number (has it got a space between it? Like 46 46 or is it like 4646?)

They can tell that its been repeated, hardly anywhere has a four digit house number unlike the USA

You sure as i have the N7 edition pre ordered from amazon u.k. With 1 day delivery and they aint said nothing and my delivery estimate still says 9th of march.

i checked my Play order this afternoon and it was coming up as "processing in warehouse". i checked a few minutes ago and it's now listed as dispatched 6 March.

and my Blockbuster order has changed to "Processing". I'm hoping I get that order by release date. my Blockbuster order is my main one and Play the backup. I'll be really tempted to open my Play order if I get that one first.

It's a common thing, same with postcodes. Computers tend to multiply things. Just as long as everything is correct dont sweat it

Had something delivered from USA with everything written wrong, but lukcily it had the house number and postcode in the mess so they found me
