My Amazon order (first class, got the dispatch email yesterday evening) just arrived! I really wasn't expecting it until Friday. There is some slight excitement in my vicinity.

I did expedited delivery with my amazon order and they have had it 'dispatching soon' all morning.

They really don't want to risk me getting the game early do they?

Yes yesturday I got an email off Play saying it had been dispatched, then i recieve a further Email Saying it was sent by next day Delivery and it had a link to click to track.

Mentioned this in another thread, but going to re-post it here.

Just to clarify for everyone that ordered from Play.com:

- The Dispatch email will not contain a tracking number, even if it was dispatched today and sent via Courier.
- If your order was sent today (or yesterday, I believe) it should have been dispatched via DPD, even if there was only the option for 3-5 working days (free) delivery when ordering.

To check if it was sent via Courier:

- You have to login to your Play account and go to Order History to see if you have a tracking number.

When you view your Order History, if it has been dispatched via DPD you will see something similar to this:

Dispatched : 08 March 2012
Tracking number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Delivery option: Free Delivery
Delivery estimate: 3-5 working days

If there is no Tracking number line, then it was dispatched via Royal Mail.

Click the Tracking number and it will take you to the DPD tracking page.

Note: Your DPD tracking number will not be active yet, should work just fine later/tomorrow though. People that already have their tracking number working have mentioned it is next day delivery via DPD, so someone will need to be in to sign for it. You can safely ignore the delivery estimate, that is for when dispatched via Royal Mail.

I ordered through Amazon and the game has just arrived, I have enough time to download 'from ashes' before I have to head to work:( Amazon only took the money out of my bank account about 3pm yesterday...so there's still hope for you all to have it on time!

dont worry i dont think anyone was given the option of anything other the free postage with Play.

Anybody's Play order arrive? Like most people the website says mine dispatched the 6th but didn't get email until this morning. No tracking number for me so guessing RM. Posts already been, not sure if it might still come in the van or if it would have been the normal postman. It usually is the postman for most games, never ordered a game from Play before though. I can wait an extra day, just dunno if I should be listening out for the door going.

Edit: just checked Play, changed dispatch to 8th and now have a tracking number... that does not work!  im trying to give up smoking, this is the ultimate test haha
