Mentioned this in another thread, but going to re-post it here.
Just to clarify for everyone that ordered from Play.com:
- The Dispatch email will not contain a tracking number, even if it was dispatched today and sent via Courier.
- If your order was sent today (or yesterday, I believe) it should have been dispatched via DPD, even if there was only the option for 3-5 working days (free) delivery when ordering.
To check if it was sent via Courier:
- You have to login to your Play account and go to Order History to see if you have a tracking number.
When you view your Order History, if it has been dispatched via DPD you will see something similar to this:
Dispatched : 08 March 2012
Tracking number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Delivery option: Free Delivery
Delivery estimate: 3-5 working days
If there is no Tracking number line, then it was dispatched via Royal Mail.
Click the Tracking number and it will take you to the DPD tracking page.
Note: Your DPD tracking number will not be active yet, should work just fine later/tomorrow though. People that already have their tracking number working have mentioned it is next day delivery via DPD, so someone will need to be in to sign for it. You can safely ignore the delivery estimate, that is for when dispatched via Royal Mail.
