Well this is gutting. Guess my £30+ this addition £10 will get me KoA, that or lose it.
Think I managed to get a CE from play, although the page doesn't advertise the Argus rifle like the normal edition and I couldn't see where to pay for delivery so I got stuck with standard (3-5 days). Also not really expecting to put that much physical cash out for it. Then again it's only like £20 more then I'd spend with the DLC and if they did end up selling the dog. Plus the patch will be nice.
Still be sorry if game goes under, never got the hate for them.
Has BW or EA said anything on it? For the inconvenience or why they can't work out a deal to ensure people get thier pre orders and bonuses?

****! i am so stressed right now. I like many others probably found out about this from a third party (i read it on www.ign.com during my lunch hour at work). Immediately i started to panic like a mad man., obviously.

I have placed a new order for the N7 edition with www.play.com and have contacted them as well to see if i can get some kind or re-assurance they aren't taking too many orders for it and end up saying "oh sorry we took too many orders yours won't be fulfilled"...

Normally I buy digital through Steam, but the 8 orders (9 now) I have made through them in the last 12 months, they have been excellent.

I have to admit the silver lining I'm seeing in this situation is being to use Shopto. Their delivery is excellent, sometimes even earlier than release.

Frantically checked amazon but they didn't have it so I ordered with play. I'm glad GAME is going down the toilet though.

Lost the N7 pack though, hope there's some way we can get that back.

Just cancelled my Play pre-order and got the Amazon one for a few pound cheaper with 6 pound on vouchers as well! Looking good so far!

yeah always annoys me that Game seem to get the best editions.  I never buy from them so I keep missing out...

Amazon are a MUCH bigger company and therefore the safer bet surely? 

Amazon didn't come in for the exclusive so how can they offer an exclusive to somebody who does not want it? Perhaps looking at their track record the deal with GAME was a poor decision which now has to be fixed by EA since GAME have just washed their hands of it and buried their head in the sand.

But at the time of the deal going ahead i can't imagine anything was agreed without legal assurances of their end of the deal being paid on a set date. Which they tried to get out of by waiting so close to release and trying to grab EA by the balls. But EA and others in the situation like Nintendo are not stupid and didn't fall for their games. (pun not intended)

so I just preordered the CE from shop.to, but it won't let me cancel my preorder from GAME when you go onto "track orders" section. I haven't had an e-mail either...

RE Shop To, I avoid them like the plague. I suggest looking into the procedure to get a refund if your game doesn't arrive. Within reason, every store is great as long as nothing goes wrong but I've never had such problems as I had with them.

Hoping this.

Just had to preorder with shopto...hoping so much they get Warfare.

Otherwise, free DLC for Warfare "for a time"? Makes a LOT of sense to me considering the nature of the situation.

 They have to give you a full cash refund dont take any crap. They have no legal right to say its today only.

That said i think the today only part is for the goodwill extra they are offering

Okay, it's up on amazon now if anybody is interested. Pre-ordered from there and had already pre-ordered from Play, so I'm gonna cancel the Play one.

Just to point out folks (as some have mentioned) that the Collectors Edition stock is still the same total Game had.   The problem now is that overall total is being split four ways.  We dont know if its an even split at all.   Additionally with only a week before launch there is bound to be confusion with such short notice.   One retailer may over allocate or got confused about their numbers.  Espeically as hundreds of people will be now buying them fast.


So essentially what Im saying is like Game, dont expect your order is guaranteed!   If you desperately want the CE then I really recommend ordering from two retailers if you can afford the double hit on your credit card.   You can return the unused copy for a full refund within 30 days.  


I feel disgusted saying that as well.   We all know that the CE was limited and many people missed out as it is!  Now people are so uncertain, me (like others) are resorting to buying two copies!!

Amazon now have them in stock! I just cancelled my play.com order and ordered with them. Its £64.85

However, I had to search specifically for "Mass Effect 3 Collectors Edition PS3" in order to find it.

Guess even going so far as to preorder instore this time didnt help me.
Guess Ill just order it from play.com. Hopefully Bioware and EA will just give the preorder bonus to all of us at these different retailers naow.
