One concern however. Did anyone else not get a 'Preorder confirmation' email from ShopTo?

It's probably nothing to worry about. It is listed under my preorders and I've received payment confirmation. They just usually confirm via email when you place a preorder.

I've done the exact same thing, I've got the payment confirmation but no preorder confirmation. Probably nothing to worry about though, that payment confirmation email is as good as a preorder one.

After Game cancelled I reordered with Play.com, but as I have had trouble with them in the past I ordered with Gamestop.co.uk as well to make sure one of them turns up on release day.
It looks like Play.com has sold out now. If you search for Mass Effect 3 CE on amazon.co.uk nothing comes up, but this link works - http://www.amazon.co...=cm_cd_asin_lnk
Gamestop.co.uk have it too (which no one seem to mention), with Free Dog Tags!

I am so happy there is an internet store named play.com now. Even though im extremely ****** at game for being unable to stock a week before release, at least play.com are stocking collectors for now. Good luck everyone with you preorders

As long as you choose first class postage yes. I've always found them to be reliable for release day postage.

That's only the Assault Rifle and Defender Armor. The N7 Arsenal Pack (shotgun, sniper, SMG and pistol) is still exclusive to the collectors edition.

True enough but I'm interested in getting both of those, which I would have if GAME hadn't done this, and may now have to order both the N7 and a standard edition.

Snagged my CE edition for PS3 for £55 on amazon - will pop into game tomorrow and get my £5 deposit and my £5 compensation (which will go on a PSN voucher)

and picked up a copy of the CE for Xbox just for the cross platform ****s and giggles

Mosy of the time there's a next day delivery option at the very least.  I've had release day delivery on items before too.  The best way to find out is to work your way through the basket stage onto the payment screen.  This will tell you the expected delivery date before you confirm the order.

Thank goodness I decided to check on my preorder again today. Was able to get one from amazon, the only one of the retailers selling the N7s now that I've had positive experiences with in the past. I'm sure people have had good experiences with others, I just prefer to stick to ones I know from experience are good.

1 thing, though this may have already have been said, this isn't game's fault. Those money grabbing morons at EA decided to charge game twice the price for the copies "as it was the end of the financial year". So GAME would have had to increase prices for gamers or sold them at serious loss which they couldn't have afforded, so they decided that rather than increasing prices on gamers like EA did on them, they were going to make a stand and say that they weren't selling ME3 at all because this is not on. Now, as long as people can still get the editions they want, and I realise that's a big if, I think GAME did the right thing, as it saved everyone buying from there from paying way more than they should for their copies of ME3. I realise some people would have been happy to pay more to have avoided losing a CE copy, but GAME can't know who those people are, they had to either charge everyone more or stop selling it and hope that people can get one at a reasonable price from elsewhere.

This is EA messing people about again with money, and whoever decided to randomly charge game more, causing this fiasco and I'm sure causing dedicated fans to lose CEs, is a money grabbing moron that should be fired. EA, hello, it's not all about money, maybe you should think of the fans who've paid you considerable sums for one or both of the first 2 games and DLC up to this point, but no, you're perfectly happy to mess them about as long as it gets you more money, you disgust me.

I seriously feel for anyone who loses a CE because of this, and I seriously hope everyone who wants one can still get one. EA have gone way too far with this, this is completely unacceptable and money grabbing. You idiots who did this beacuse you can't think about anything but money should be ashamed of yourselves, though you'll no doubt be too busy thinking about your new money to be.

I got receipt for payment from Paypal and account charge from shopto. But it says this in the shopto mail:

This email does not constitute confirmation of contract. Acceptance of
your order and the formation of a contract between you and Us will take
place when We send you an email confirming that the products you have
ordered are being despatched to you

Maybe that's the reason we don't get a order confirmation
