You think it is more expensive, until i sell off the crap i don't want and it turns out cheaper then the standard edition. Hopefully this will affect ME3 sales and it most probably will. This is the best news i have heard and i LOVE it that some of the snobby gits on this site will not be aware of this and will be too late to re-order a collectors edition. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is GREAT news! All the snobby idiots on this site with the whole ''you should have pre-ordered it earlier'' ''Bioware did say it is limited'' are getting DESTROYED!! And you know what else is sweet? I NOW HAVE THE COLLECTORS EDITION PRE-ORDERED AND TAKEN ONE OF YOUR SNOBBY COLLECTOR EDITIONS. HAHAHAHAHA, seriously though GAME seem to be in BIG trouble, also this could hopefully affect sales of ME3 so money grabbing day 1 DLC shafter's Bioware get screwed by this too. Oh what a great day this has turned out to be. BIOWARE IN STEEP DECLINE.
You realise the stupidy of what you just said? You said hope affects sales and admit you have actually just gone and bought a more expensive product from them. EA thanks you for your patronage.

I've done the exact same thing, I've got the payment confirmation but no preorder confirmation. Probably nothing to worry about though, that payment confirmation email is as good as a preorder one.Pilotgregster wrote...
Ordered mine with ShopTo early this morning and pre-paid. It's a terrible situation, but in a way, I'm glad it's been put in the hands of a retailer I can trust. I fully expected GAME to screw up.
One concern however. Did anyone else not get a 'Preorder confirmation' email from ShopTo?
It's probably nothing to worry about. It is listed under my preorders and I've received payment confirmation. They just usually confirm via email when you place a preorder.
I didn't get a confirmation either but then I checked my junk mail, my pre-order confirmation and payment confirmation were in there!

It is still a sale, a product sold. Given how fast preorders cancelled by GAME are being refilled by the other stores of which some already running out, this will not impact sales much at all. Especially given you add to that number, do you not get the irony?

I preordered the DDE from Origin at first, then switched to a hard copy from Those-Who-Will-Now-Not-Be-Named.Rickin10 wrote...
Out of interest, how many people have bought more than one copy and where from?
I tried to cancel the DDE, but for some reason they never did.
Talk about ironic luck...

I'm not even sure I want one CE, I'm ordering because I can, really. I'm eyeing a copy of vanilla ME3 at Tesco online for only £33, do I really want to double that price for the CE?

I have no idea about other releases, I'm commenting on ME3. And it's not propaganda, I've done some research into this, I realise their track record certainly isn't excellent, but this isn't their fault, it's EAs. EA did not do what you claim, EA were being greedy, that's what caused this fiasco, not GAME. I'm certainly not saying GAME are great, but I do know that for once, this isn't their fault, it's the fault of money grabbing greedy people over at EA who were messing GAME about.
Do you have a source for your research? If the situation with ME3/FIFA Street/all the rest of the upcoming EA games were unique, it might be plausable. But given the well documented situation with new UBIsoft and Nintendo games not being stocked by GAME, there'd have to be pretty conclusive evidence of EA being particularly money-grabbing to support what you say. Various publishers being much less willing to give GAME credit is not symptomatic of greediness.

Same here, the only type of confirmation I have is on the preorder page, where it says "There is no need to check out, we have received your pre order and it has been paid for." in big red writing. So I hope that's enough.Pilotgregster wrote...

I got both a pre-order confirmation and a payment confirmation from Shopto.net. Sometimes the email takes a little while to come through though, so you may get it a little later on.
Oh dear. I ordered mine over 5 hours ago.Oh well. Time will tell.
I hope so too...otherwise I'm gonna cry.

If you've preordered from Amazon, call them up and tell them about the price change from 55.88 to the 64 something it is now. They'll edit the cost for you.
That's for the xbox version right? It should be 55.88?

I wouldn't go that far, but if their relationship with other game companies follows the same path then yeah, bad times.

You shouldn't have a problem. It's gone through the system and it's sitting happily on your Pre-orders page. You'll get it on or before release day.

Clearly you did not do your research well enough. Isn't it a bit coincidental that GAME are having problems with multiple publishers? Or are all publishers just conspiring against GAME now?
I imagine your research was talking to staff from GAME who apparently have been told to tell anyone who asks that it is EA's fault. Fact is that GAME had no money to pay for what was agreed and they asked EA to give then credit which EA were not about to do and neither was Nintendo so both had their games pulled.
GAME can blame who they like and point fingers elsewhere. I suppose conspiracy theorists who want to believe EA is the devil and GAME is their fellow gamer being trod on by those evil publishers will back their ridiculous claims up.
I don't appreciate you assuming I'm wrong and talking as though it's fact that I'm incorrect about this. There's no need to be rude thank you. I was trying to poiltely inform people from what I found out that it was EA's fault about this, not GAME. I wasn't saying that that was definitely correct, just that it was what I found out, and you may be right, it may be GAME's fault. However that doesn't mean you needed to be rude and talk to me as though I'm some kind of moron who doesn't have a clue about things. You can believe what you like, that's what I've found out, I was saying that to include that in what people have found, I've said what I was going to say, and I have better things to do than argue the point with someone rude who thinks that just because someone doesn't agree with them, they're completely clueless and are automatically wrong. I'm done here.

I say between a week to a month till game goes belly up.
I imagine the online service may survive because it was a popular system like Zavvi has become an online only system and is doing well now.

Remember Day One DLC isnt included in that and that costs £7.50. So the "full" game will set you back £40.
Still its up to you if you consider the extra content worth the extra £15-20

So its impossible to get the CE with the N7 Warfare pack and/or the Argus rifle in the UK correct.
This sucks Game.co.uk gave me everything, They should just put the content up on the marketplace as free day 1 DLC
Nowhere is guarunteed to yet ship the Warfare pack with preorders, but nothing is confirmed yet.
It's hardly surprising that EA (and the relevant distributors) take more than a day to get all of the contracts signed with new retailers to distribute the DLC. And on the whole, most people would probably think it's better for GAME to announce this a couple of days earlier and have the DLC undecided than to delay everyone by two days for the sake of EA sorting alternative distribution.
