So long as they "confirm" everyone will be getting what was previously offered.  Otherwise the situation will become a lot worse then it already is!

Then if you agree with me you must also agree that EA should share some of the blame with this fiasco.  After all it was EA that made the the CE exclusive to GAME (no doubt after rubbing their hands at whatever incentive GAME offered them).  It is also a case that this situation with GAME has been going on for bloody months yet all EA did was sit there and hope for the best.

So yeah some of the blame for this situation does lie with EA because EA did their damnedest to prevent their customers from buying the CE where the customer wanted to buy it.

Yes they do. In the UK both SE and DDE versions on Origin come with ALL pre-order bonuses.

I would imagine that all orders from Origin carry the same (i.e. all) bonuses. It's the same for any other distributer: Digital and Hard-copies are not mutually exclusive when it comes to promotional stuff.

I've seen it done, but only in the name of charity.  I once saw a workmate get a discount by letting them know it was for charity (you usually have provide a registered charity number, but not always), then she argued them down from the discount they had already offered.  Mind you, she herself wasn't British and the store was a small independant one (I don't think you're likely to get big name brands to alter the price on something unless it's special circumstances).

Considering this is going to be one of the biggest sales (game-wise) of the year, and Game and GameStation had exclusive rights, I highly doubt it. They are gonna lose a TON of money here, and without EA games, will likely go under.

It is possible, but given their position, I doubt it.

I got kinda freaked out after my CE preorder got cancelled, and I couldn't find it anywhere, but then I found it in amazon for 5 euro less, and I got a 5 pound coupon from the whole mess

Perhaps ask for help from some of the poeple who have double-ordered? If you pay for P&P, I'm sure some kind soul wouldn't mind winging something to you. It'd be late, true, but better than nothing.

I pre-ordered N7 edition and now i lost it and i cant get my game! i cant believe something this ****ed up has happened!
So what are game going to do for people like me i have no chance to get a new copy cause i was only told 5PM and everyone else had sold out!

So i guess am not getting Mass Effect 3 any more cause i cant get it with game loyital points! So from the demo you made a great game i was really looking forward to getting the special edition i per-ordered now am not getting it at all because of this issue with game!

Amazon.co.uk are still selling the PC & PS3 N7 Editions if either of those are the platforms you want?

I'd say very soon. Consumer confidence is shot and their credibility is in tatters. I dont see how they can carry on operating now and wouldn't be surprised to see them going into administration within a couple of weeks.

They (EA that is) sorted out six alternative retailers pretty quickly. It's not their fault that Game can't afford stock anymore.

You bring up a good point. This isn't BioWare's job. They have a PR department, sure, but EA handles this.
