I preordered my CE at the german amazon site in july last year. So i just hope that those who ordered early enough will be priviliged in case the stockpile is running out. I would realy be p****d if they sell them randomly, no offense against the customers who just ordered within the last weeks. But those who ordered first should get it first. Damn i am so nervous, i want my CE in time. Just as amazon announced.

You bring up a good point. This isn't BioWare's job. They have a PR department, sure, but EA handles this.

That's a little much for some to understand. The problem is between EA and GAME and EA have been releasing statements but seems there are still some things they need to work out.

But it reflects badly on Bioware regardless.  I mean were discussing this on Biowares Site not EA's to start with and many of us expect (and would like) a responce from Bioware rather then EA statements.

To say I was furious while reading that cancellation e-mail from GAME is a huge understatement. I'm not ashamed to say that I sent a rather scathing reply.

Blockbuster is still stocking the N7 Edition, so be quick as you can!

Maybe they called EA's bluff.... EA said we simply cannot accept these terms and unless you revise your position we will withdraw our support [typical EA] and GAME said okay we won't stock any of your major titles.... how do you like those apples? Basically who's gonna get more butt-hurt over this in UK retail is up for debate.

Other publishers like Activision will look at this very carefully... and hopefuly think well if we agree to these terms we won't get our major titles pulled from store shelves which will impact sales no matter how you look at it. GAME needs publishers to accept these terms to survive.

i would imagine that bioware/ea are still trying to sort something out for the fans who are affected by the game order issue, so until they know what is what i doubt they are going to post anything just yet

It doesn't portray Bioware in a good light, but they are simply a developer.  EA is the publisher and they handle distribution, so its up to EA to apologise for this mess too, not just GAME.

No problem, I know what it's like running around like a headless turkey so hopefully this will keep things in check a bit more

Zavvi.com have sold out on all platforms and those are the only six announced retailers that were listed as having stock.

They'll wait until they know everything on EA UK's end before saying much i imagine. When people started demanding a statement from them their offices were not even open so they could not have done anything. We'll get a statement soon i am sure. But not much they can say other that "this sucks we're sorry it happened" they had no part in the publishing side of things

had my order placed with game since 11 july 2011, and i only find out when i come home @ 7pm, by e-mail. now i've had to place another pre-order with an e-tailer i have no experience of (plus submit card details) as amazon.co.uk (where i'd prefer and trust to buy) don't have it available, nor does play.com.

i have collectors editions for pc and 360 for both me1 and 2, bought lithos, figures, clothes and supported the franchise (encouraging other people to buy the games), and this is how i - and everyone in the uk - gets treated? poor show indeed.

/Quoted for truth... the BSN isnt the nicest or safest place to be around when things go wrong like this.. on a side note it is nice to see people helping each other acquire copies of the game!
