I think the issue is, alot of people who never ordered/missed out ordered as well as the people who got there orders cancelled.

I found out at 12 noon today and ordered asap. As I was one of the people on your original thread due to Game cancelling my order. It spread like wildfire over every game/news website.

I agree.  Whats worse is for most people ordering has been pot luck.  No one has had any way to make a informed decision on what retailer to go for.   If one retailer gets it and another doesnt then being hard done by is an understatement.

I do hope everyone gets the DLC that was originally offered.   This isnt Game customers mistake and many of us arnt interested in the behind the scenes deals that retailers do in regards to DLC content.  

Agreed. Although it reminds me of the DA2 S.E. problems, the individual retailer deals weren't announced until after the S.E. cut off date, which left costomers with the same problem. That was eventually resolved after release with everyone getting the DLC. I hope this works out the same way.

Still, kudos to bioware and EA for organising alternative retailers so quickly. I can't believe it sold out so quickly though, despite CE being... well, collector's, I will entertain a small hope they will throw some more on the market.

Some people ordered more than one copy from multiple retailers out of paranoia. It's worth keeping an eye out in case of cancellations.

I'm having a sense of deja vu about the Signature Edition, too.  Seems lessons weren't learnt then and most likely won't be learnt now either, sadly.

This absolutely sucks. They put all the other game shops in my town out of business. They get exclusive rights to the CE.

I order the CE with them, then come home from work to find an email saying "LOL SORRY!!!" and now I can't get a CE at all, from anywhere. Sucktacular. Even though I pre-ordered ages ago, in plenty of time, long before they ran out. It all just comes down to who happened to be at home, online, today, when the news broke. Utter crap. Penalised because I have a job, and I actually work instead of browsing the internet for gaming news all day. Wonderful.

Play.com have sold out. Zavvi.com have sold out. Blockbuster and Gamestop - both sold out. Amazon - sold out.

Yes, I'm whining and complaing about it here and you guys aren't to blame, but dammit I've been looking forward to this for months and months, and to get screwed over the week before release is just so annoyingly maddeningly typical of my life at the moment, I need to rant and vent and this is as good a place as any.

I really hope EA will run a few more off the production line and make them more readily available - if not out of the goodness of their hearts to please their loyal customers who've lost out in this fiasco, then at least from a business standpoint to make more money. I want to pay you extra money for this CE. Please let me.

People managed to react pretty quickly. It's actually only in the last hour that Gamestop.co.uk and Blockbuster.com sold out, though they were added a bit later on.

Making more Collector's Editions would be nice... since, you know, not everyone who had a pre-order with GAME had the chance to join in the mad rush for copies (like me).

I was same, looked forums at lunch time at work and read all about it, managed to get my CE PC copy from amazon while on the bus home

Disapointed with GAME, wont be using them again, will be going for my refund tommorow. #RIPGame

... i really am at a loss for words at the moment. Up till right before i checked my email 15 minutes ago I was looking forward to getting my nice N7 edition for my 360, which i preordered the day they were announced. And now they're going to tell me that i can simply forget even getting it? Bloody...

Graah... whats the point in preordering anymore if you can't even get the nice looking boxes due to stuff like this.

It's just the pre-order bonus that Game had. They are sorting out which retailer(s) will now carry it instead

They are part of the CE. The preorder is a rifle and armour.

Yeah from ashes is in the CE. So are most of the N7 weapons. It's only the N7 rifle and an armour which is a preorder bonus.

The Argus Rifle is also part of the N7 Warfare pack, but that rifle is also availible through other retailers.

Warfare gear was pre-order exclusives from game on top of the M-55 Argus assault rifle. N7 collectors edition people will still get the Arsenal pack and most retailers offer the M-55 rifle too, the Warfare gear is up in the air at the mo. But you're right it's worded strangely as it was supposed to be (or so I assumed) for both standard and N7 CE versions.
