The problem here is game and ea left it to the last second then just pulled the plug. Now everyones running around and angery. If thay cut things off sooner there would have been more time for people to make new arangements. So in that respect plenty of blame for both game and EA here.

What I dont get is, since ME3 n7 edition is in such high demand, why not set it to 1 purchase per account, store wise, like amazon, play, gamestop, etc.

Some will, since they were panic buying from everywhere "just to be safe". It's worth keeping an eye on the 6 websites.

ok...so lots and lots of us had pre-orders....EA must have known the numbers originally before pulling the plug....

So where are these copies...because no one is selling them at the moment..so where they go?

Or were game taking pre-orders on a product they could not deliver (illegal btw under the trade consumers act)...???

So please, stop with the sarcastic slating...we had pre-orders in good faith...in my opinion, it is up to EA/Bioware (by the way guys..same company now,...has been for years) to honour those pre-orders...

Yeeeahhh.  Not sure you're understanding what is going on.  

GAME can no longer afford to stock Mass Effect 3.  Therefore, they are not able to sell it.  Ergo, anyone who had preordered from them must now preorder from somewhere else.  

Neither EA, nor Bioware (seriously, how are they possibly at fault here?) are responsible for this.  

Haha. Maybe he means that EA should just dip into their bottomless pit of gold and pay off GAME? That doesn't sound very bad. How badly could GAME be doing, anyway? They aren't in negative figures, are they?

People are ordering more than one copy....and its first come first serve. this has been going on since about noon when i first saw the BBC news thread on it

Also, I looked on Xtra vision, there's no mention of the extra armour and gun as far as i could tell, and I didn't see a PC version, so if EA sold the rights to them, I'll be pissed.

Game have been living on borrowed time for a while now.  Thinking they can ignore the internet prices, and exploit the 'walk-ins' like dear old grandma wanting to purchase something for little Johnny as the staff helpfully advise her on which aaa titles she can buy for £10-£15 dearer than necessary. And then there's the exclusive deals they can profiteer through such as the official Skyrim guide - not the CE you understand, no, the standard version - for the very reasonable sum of £18 quid. 

Game, I'd like to say I'll miss you, but alas, we both know that would be an utter lie.

No it was up to Game to honor those pre-orders since you were ordering from them NOT EA. They couldn't even afford to buy the stock to fulfill those orders.

As it turns out yes Game have been taking pre-orders on a product they can't deliver.

What dont you understand.

The copies were allocated to game.

Game are no longer able to sell them.

All of those copies were allocated to other retaillers.

All of those copies have now been sold.

Bioware dont have 10000 CE's sitting in a warehouse somewhere in England that they are refusing to sell.

They have all been resold allready.
