Have you unlocked a multiplayer Revenant rifle?

I have indeed unlocked it How long ago are you thinking that we played? I haven't been at home to play it for the last week and a half so,

It would also have required EA to show they care about fans loyal enough to pre-order months ago

And we know they don't...

@teleraine...this will probably work for certain versions....IIRC, the CE of Origins was coded to activate on any server...the standard version was coded to only authenticate on the server of the country it was bought in...I knew of a few ppl who picked up the standard version from the States on holiday, only to be unable to activate it once in the UK...

EA did eventually solve the problem for them....but again....just another form of hidden DRM...because they don;t charge the same price in every country....just like Warner Brothers when they demanded region coding on DVD's all those years ago....its a financial scam.

Anywhere in EU you should be good, further afield, I would not not take the chance.

I lost my original pre-order in that fiasco. It seems specialist game retail is doomed in the UK.

Bearing in mind what happened with Game and what is going on on this forum I wouldn't expect people to cancel theirs pre-orders for extra copies. They most likely will put them on ebay and sell for more.  At least I would do that...

If I could get them from Play Asia I would Fedex only take 3 days from Hong Kong but for some reason it says preorder soon not even sold out @_@

Rudal there hitting £100+ atm on some but they got days to run so its probably gonna be more and yeah im just here in the forum using it like a bar and putting all the whisky on the tab.

I know how you feel. Of all the stuff I won't get the soundtrack is the one that actually disappoints most, especially after playing the demo. It's a pretty ******-poor situation all round.

Well I have two on order, but I just don't have the time or effort to try and flog one off at a later date. Who knows... I'd feel pretty awful doing it because it frustrates me whenever people do stuff like this, especially with things like tickets.

Confusingly, Play Asia usually says that when they've allocated all of their preorders, so that means they're sold out.

Just a quick question for some: those who pre-ordered from Gamestation or Gameplay (which are subsidiaries of Game in case you were unaware): have you received a cancellation email?

I've pre-ordered with Gameplay. However, I have not received a cancellation email and the status of my order on the website is still 'Ordered'. I don't expect to be getting the game from them now, but this is a little curious still. As the Gameplay website will be vanishing tomorrow (to be subsumed by Gamestation), I was wondering how the Gamestation site has handled these 'cancellations'.

its quite stunning to think once Game does fold and takes Gamestation with it that there will only be HMV (meh there pulling out as well no pc games) Whsmiths (meh overpriced) and the supermarkets left (jsut meh for the hell of it)

Comes down to DTHD...how much money do EA want to potentially lose?

They have the worst reputation in the gaming industry, a new chairman/director has not changed anything, they still run the same business model....still as ruthless as ever...

Now personally (though I'm not an exec at EA on millions a year...so what the hell do I know)....I would see this as the perfect opportunity to gain some good rep with the gaming community and start to change the image of the company...

But then...we both know they won't lol...

I went ultra mental to get my collectors edition regained-

-read news on IGN

-checked forums for solution (originally to cry in angst)

-rushed the half hour to bank to put money on debit card

-came back home tried to log in to Play

-Failed to log in to play -___-

-Went through password retrieval process

-Successfully logged on to play

-Bought collectors edition

One hour later aaallll 360 copies gone.

9 days from release.. I did NOT need that bulls@?t

No problem mate.  As i stated in the email, i've not seen it on their site anywhere, so I am taking it with a pinch of salt.  The trailer you might be regering to maybe made for the US market, where i belive Gamestop do have the N7 warfare pack.
