I know it's a real pain for everyone that has now missed out due to this, but you can hardly blame EA from wanting to not provide to a retailer that by the sounds of things (reading between the lines) has bad credit/no willing backing from financial institutions right now.

It's as much Game's fault, if not more than it is EA's.

Un-freakin-believable... I've spent the last week in pain thanks to the flu effecting my asthma so badly I've had to fight just to breath the entire time (no I aint exagerating) and now that I finally feel like I aint gonna die at any moment I find this out... Can't re-order anywhere else because everywhere is sold out of PC versions and all because of EA and game ****ing around thanks a bunch. Way to kick a guy while he's down.

I was really looking forward to this and now just feel completely deflated and let down.

@sh2dak...the console versions are still pretty much available...its the PC version most ppl getting cheesed about....

Console, 360. I know with Borderlands, if you had the Austrian version, you could buy the DLC off of the UK store as well. I hope to get some Bioware confirmation that I can Import my UK saves to the PEGI version of ME3. I already have it pre-ordered, just in case, but I could sleep better if I knew for sure that I'm not wasting my money and will eventually have to buy the regular ME3 UK edition.

Yes, it will work just fine. The PAL version is the PAL version, it more than likely just has localized packaging and printed extras (artbook, comic, etc.) for each country (as in, will be in French/German).

And yes, the game will be in English:

Chuck yes I've been corrected it seems from a quote taken from a chris priestly post saying that you can choose your language on xbox , ps3 and pc so the save games shouldnt have a problem

As for compat...who knows....if you read into Chris's post..."doesnt matter where you get it from"...'suggesting' that it should it be fine regardless of platform....but on console...would be a risk to be honest....

It's as much Game's fault, if not more than it is EA's.

The thing is, I wouldn't have gone near game with a bargepole, but EA set up their promotional content in such a way that to get all the "good stuff" you had to order the CE from Game in the uk.

Essentially they put an incentive to pre order from a retailer that we all knew fine well had credit issues.

If every retailer had been on a level playing field,  and i chose to order from Game and this happens fair play, but EA structured their promotions in such a way that to get the best deal you had to go to Game, when it was well and truly in the public domain that Game had credit issues.

there are only 3 standards anyone needs to check for conpatibilty

PAL - Europe
NTSC - America
Pal J - Asia/Japan

if its bought in europe its gonna work on your system or really should. Most games arent locked in this generation through MS are a bit weird on that front. Pegi isnt a standard its a rating system.

The printed stuff, i speak for myself i is less important thing to me. The problem with the French edition of Amazon.fr is the Region locked and the language(which has been answerd, in which, although I thank you for your responses, I would like an official answer being the only place that has the collector’s edition.

Can't believe i got in fast enough with amazon, two hours later and they were completely sold out.

I wouldn't of minded as much if this had happens two or so months ago, but one week from release? Gah. If i hadn't of cancelled my plans today i would of completely missed this. I did have a suspicion something was going to happen when game had completely removed the listing for the N7 edition 3 weeks ago.
