Don't know what laws are applicable, but I'm pretty sure you're entitled to a full cash refund upon (total) failure to make delivery. Just gotta write them an e-mail.

Indeed. This is a joke, I love to see what reassurances Game made to be exclusive retailers when it was known they were in financial trouble for months now!

Days before launch and suddenly they come out and said we cant afford to stock it!


Whats worse is Game arnt is being forward in acknowledging this! I have no emails and my order is still listed as pending!

So many people will be in the dark about this. Im on the lucky ones being told by a friend.


Bioware if your reading this, tell Game to start contacting people else you will have a load of really angry fans soon if they dont order elsewhere!

I have just pre-ordered with play.com (should spread the risk but do not want two mass effect games arriving with a bill for two games when I have not got the money for two collectors editions)

but extremely displeased with Game UK (they received a very unhappy email about how they treat there customers)

hopefully play.com and other companies can meet the orders I called play.com up and they said they can fulfil it so I am betting on them

I agree- word needs to be spread, especially seeing as not everyone who pre-ordered will be checking the forums or gaming websites. Game Group seem to have terrible customer communications from what I've read in other posts.

Thank's for the heads up OP.

I've just pre ordered the CE from Shopto after having it pre ordered from Game months ago.

I'ts absolutely disgusting that UK customers are just being informed about this now, just over a week away from the release date. If it wasn't for the OP's thread i wouldn't have found out at all probably, as my CE pre order is still on my Game account.

The CE was a Game/Gamestation exclusive and came with the pre order bonus N7 warfare pack. Who is offering this now if anyone?

I believe it's only right that all UK customers who have pre ordered the game are given the N7 warfare pack by Bioware/EA as a goodwil gesture, if no other retailers are offering it.

^^^^ This, I only found out because a friend told me, I had been under media black out, I wouldn't have known otherwise. And for someone who's had it preordered since June I would have been gutted if I wasn't able to preordered it again due to people jumping in and ordering them who didn't have it ordered before.

Just sent game a nice email as well asking for £10 refund as i've been forced to pay more for my CE edition from a different re-seller.. if they don't I will most likely cancel my account with them and move onto some one else.

Game has shot themsevles in the foot with this pure and simple.

The GAME product page has been updated with a message about them not carrying it. They direct you to EA as opposed to actually saying which other retailers are carrying it though. Not mentioning the competition is bound to save them now, right?

Of course, the message is surrounded by ads about the Warfare pack and such... XD

Indeed, this should be a goodwill gesture on EA/Bioware's part - hoping this will be the case but unlikely, unfortunately

No confirmation on that yet. Hopefully we will still be able to obtain the codes without resorting to eBay. Please don't just put it on Origin or something though

Well, I've cancelled my CE preorder (from June 2011!) with Game and placed a new one at Play.com. Fingers crossed it arrives on release day. This is the last time I'll use Game. In fact if they can't stock ME3 (probably the biggest game of the year so far), they will most likely fold in the near future.

1 ****ing week from launch. I Pre-ordered AS SOON AS Mass Effect 3 was announced, and one week from launch I may not get the chance to get a CE! **** BioWare **** EA for being cash hungry ******ising ****s and **** GAME for not telling me sooner.
