my apologizes for scaring you (didnt realise amazon over estimated by that much)

The biggest delivery esitmate I've ever had from them was over two months on a DVD boxset, it turned up a week later.

They really do tend to over-estimate by a huge amount.

Before I order from abroad, is there any chance Amazon.co.uk will be getting any back in stock?

The one I can get now is £10 more than my previous Game order.

tomorrow might change because some people may cancel there orders if only one shop is getting the N7 warfare packs which will make some people stop hoarding multiple orders and go for the one with the exclusive

plus I am sure like me many have pre order form 2 place me amazon and blockbuster to make sure I get it so like me I would assume most of them will be selling a copy on ebay with a few days of the 9th

I'm trying to think of a nice way to phrase this.

Anyone wondering why everwhere sold out so quickly and so many people are left without..... Theres your answer.
Thanks buddy, glad to hear you'll be getting two copies.

The rest of us can just wait for you to pop your spare up on ebay. These are the people that hoard tinned good in times of crisis.

Yea, EA didn't think it through if they thought Xbox CEs would sale out and according to word down the internet they're not getting anymore which has forced some poeple to ouright refuse to but the game. So  best case scenario is that people are forced to order a maximum of 1 unit.

I guess the good to come out of this Game problem is that they'll be more Xbox CE's on the marker at regular price

while my Bioware loyalty has been shaken most notably by DA 2 im hopeful their next game is a retirn to form (the one after me3) and im having a nice time in swtor. Though I cant say gw2 and other stuff isnt interesting. If it gets worse im just going to start calling them EA Edmonton.

This is not a personal attack just a statement of opinion - dont shoot me!

Has anyone redeemed their £5 from GAME/Gamestation yet? I just used that and £2 worth of loyalty points towards 1200 micosoft points. Better do that before GAME calls in the administrators! I'm sure bankruptcy would welcome them with open arms!

End of the day i just want finish the greatest gaming story i've ever played. Coming from a kid aged of 3 completing sonic on the master system, thats 20 years of pure gaming!

Bioware, i love you don't sell yourselfs to the rapists that i call EA.

Yeah i had a brief look on ebay im amazed thats even allowed random people promising games hey havent got yet. also the fact that theres many denying people of a copy by puchasing additional ones on top of there own just to prey on the die hard Mass effect fan.

i saw one for at least £200 crazy.

That sounds like EA offered them a set of terms that were unacceptable to the Game senior management before EA pulled out.

One or two years ago:

EA: Mass Effect 3 - want?
Game: WANT!

EA: 10% now, 90% on delivery.
Game: WANT!

A few weeks ago:

EA: Delivery!
Game: Ooopsie, no money!
EA: Get credit :/

Game: Need credit!
Bank: lulz, gtfo!

Game: No credit :( You give us inventory, we pay later!
EA: You pay now or no inventory!
Game: We don't pay :(
EA : No ME3! No contract! No new games!

That's my take on it and I stand by it ;)

>GAME still sell SSX
Nothing against SSX, but why do they just sell this one EA game and get rid of the (potentially) profitable games.
Obviously both SSX and ME have a good fanbase that will buy games on release, but then there is the FIFA games what they are not going to sell, that always rakes in the money.

Dont you get it big businesses who earn a massive amount of money never learn. Its why we had the or still have the recession. They get greedy and think their untouchable until someone rips the floor out from underneath them. We saw it with the banks. EA wont learn unless something practically trears down the door and starts burning their money till theres only $1 left.

I actually came out of this okay, saving a fair bit with shopto.net and will hopefully get it a day early too. Only thing that irks me are the pre order bonuses, I hope they come to shopto because there's no way in hell im messing around with my pre orders now. Well that and I doubt the xbox 360 version of the N7 is still in stock else where now.

I am not buying 2 because of wanting to sell a copy I am buying 2 because amazon have let me down in the past on pre orders I dont trust them as I said if both comes I will put one up on my ebay shop at retail price plus I was always buying 2 copies before all this

fact is the stock that was going to game went to amazon and the other new shops

@Ando

EA probably pulled out of the entire distribution deal, which most likely included more than just ME. That explains why Game won't be stocking future EA titles. If they are still going to sell other EA titles after this, it's probably because those rights have already been paid for in full.

If you really looked at all the companies we can order from these days you'd probably not order squat since someone somewhere has probably been royally somethinged by them one time or other.

Because EA charges a fortune to stock a game like Mass Effect. SSX? popular, but it's not Mass Effect

lol Goos its normally very few retailers who wouldnt dispatch a replacement once confirmation of loss came through.

Shame though Game never caught on to good customer service...though most customer service these days is words with little action.

I gave game one last chance and pr ordered Space Marine off of em(because of bonus armour packs). They promptly cocked that up as well with a delayed delivery date of like a week after release at which point I told em to stuff it, bought it at another local store, kept and used the code for the armour pack, returned the game delivery and cashed in the £10 of points they gave me as an apology and got assassins creed brotherhood for nothing.

Only reason I made this order for them was for the shinies they offered. I wanted to maximise my last chapter of mass effect 3. Guess I'll just be dangling in the wind now...

In light of this fiasco I hope EA/Bioware decide to make all possible goodies available to all CE editions, irrespective of where they were bought.

This isnt EAs fault though....i agree most of the time there decisions are bad, BUT game decided not to stock mass effect 3, not EA. There having finance trouble read the letter.
