EA probably pulled out of the entire distribution deal, which most likely included more than just ME. That explains why Game won't be stocking future EA titles. If they are still going to sell other EA titles after this, it's probably because those rights have already been paid for in full.
Well that was my thinking too, but wouldnt it have been wiser to go with a "safer" game, say like FIFA, they would have made much more money imo.

theres always the standard edition Goos
I'm left with such a sour taste in my mouth because of EA/Biowares gimicks with shinies I don't feel they deserve my money for making me jump these hoops only to be let down and left without those things I was looking forward to enjoying. I didn't buy dragon age 2 at all because of the last time (just as well it turned out to be a waste of money) I just can't get excited about mass effect 3 now unless they do something to make it up to me.

Can anyone confirm GAME AUS pre-orders? Haven't had an email and the ME3 is still listed for sale on the Australian website.
I rang the local GAME where I live. The staff said they're "still confirming whether this will affect the Australian stores." They couldn't give me a definite timeframe of when they will know, and said that they'll be contacting all the preorder customers by phone if the preorder is cancelled.
I made another preorder with EB, and will just see what happens.

Aint they the same company or something?
Reason I ask is because every branch of Game where I live was once EB branches till one day the names all changed.

Look I know this is inconvenient (I also preordered from GAME) but I feel more sorry for the employees at GAME, because it's very likely they'll be applying for new jobs soon...

Im sure no one did this on purpose, but leaving it so soon? I kno I keep making assumptions about what could or couldn't have been done, but surley a business as big as GAME could have seen this coming?
