EA probably pulled out of the entire distribution deal, which most likely included more than just ME. That explains why Game won't be stocking future EA titles. If they are still going to sell other EA titles after this, it's probably because those rights have already been paid for in full.

Well that was my thinking too, but wouldnt it have been wiser to go with a "safer" game, say like FIFA, they would have made much more money imo.

It's great to see people who left their preorders so late and missed out have now got a copy but when I preorder back in early November, I get screwed over by Game a week before launch and my copy goes to one of them. There is no justice in this world. And to other people ordering more than one copy, depriving others....shame on you.

theres always the standard edition Goos :P

I'm left with such a sour taste in my mouth because of EA/Biowares gimicks with shinies I don't feel they deserve my money for making me jump these hoops only to be let down and left without those things I was looking forward to enjoying. I didn't buy dragon age 2 at all because of the last time (just as well it turned out to be a waste of money) I just can't get excited about mass effect 3 now unless they do something to make it up to me.

Can anyone confirm GAME AUS pre-orders? Haven't had an email and the ME3 is still listed for sale on the Australian website.

I rang the local GAME where I live. The staff said they're "still confirming whether this will affect the Australian stores." They couldn't give me a definite timeframe of when they will know, and said that they'll be contacting all the preorder customers by phone if the preorder is cancelled.

I made another preorder with EB, and will just see what happens.

It is a shame isnt it EA must be eating their socks at the damage to the hype train.

See Game is going out of business because there is Amazon.com and other places that people are ordering from over Game. It wont be long before Game will be out of business

this is awful i remember saying multiple times that relying on GAME as the sole distriutor of the CE was a stupid thing to do on the part of Bioware/EA these people are awful respect your consumers and allow more competent retailers to stock your product

EB? Electronics Boutique?
Aint they the same company or something?
Reason I ask is because every branch of Game where I live was once EB branches till one day the names all changed.

Look I know this is inconvenient (I also preordered from GAME) but I feel more sorry for the employees at GAME, because it's very likely they'll be applying for new jobs soon...

Im sure no one did this on purpose, but leaving it so soon? I kno I keep making assumptions about what could or couldn't have been done, but surley a business as big as GAME could have seen this coming?

In the run up to this debacle EA spent time figuring out how to send ME3 copies into space, how about next time try to actually get the damn things into a store on earth.

I think EB has nothing to do with game as i find no mention of them within the game group but does seem they are part of gamestop that being EB.

what make me a ittle bit more certain of that is Gamestop are considering making an offer for Game, but worried as the dont want there austrialia bit as they already have EB over there.

First time i actually pre order a collector's edition. Bursting with happiness, euphoria increasing daily, anticipating the game, quickly followed by my 18th birthday. Then I realised that Game were massive douches and, not having a debit card till my 18th (as per my parents' restrictions), I had to wait for my older brother to get home to pre-order online. I waited, but he decided to work late and came home knackered saying "I'll do it in the morning!" and rushing off to the confinement of his room before I could press the matter. Thinking of how to convince him, I checked Amazon and, alas, the horror story is complete. OUT OF STOCK! The words dropped on me like a bombshell. I was left feeling ... oddly empty inside.

Now tell me that does not sound like a horror story (all true BTW just worded up a little).
