Just checked my emails and saw my PC N7 Edition preorder from GAME.co.uk was cancelled, even though I made it several months ago. Lo and behold, no other place stocks it now, so if I want to buy the game from anywhere it has to be the standard edition (just preordered it from ShopTo). It's safe to say that GAME won't be seeing my money again.

Pity, because I was looking forward to all the fancy trinkets and extras with the N7 Edition, as well as not having to pay separately for day-zero DLC.

Not happy.

First time i actually pre order a collector's edition. Bursting with happiness, euphoria increasing daily, anticipating the game, quickly followed by my 18th birthday. Then I realised that Game were massive douches and, not having a debit card till my 18th (as per my parents' restrictions), I had to wait for my older brother to get home to pre-order online. I waited, but he decided to work late and came home knackered saying "I'll do it in the morning!" and rushing off to the confinement of his room before I could press the matter. Thinking of how to convince him, I checked Amazon and, alas, the horror story is complete. OUT OF STOCK! The words dropped on me like a bombshell. I was left feeling ... oddly empty inside.

Now tell me that does not sound like a horror story (all true BTW just worded up a little).

I managed to order my n7 collector (360) from blockbuster online as they seem to hhave some stock.

It's a shambles. I'm very angry and disappointed, especially so close to release day when we have no chance of getting it elsewhere.

I'm sure it's no consollation but the digital delux edition from Origin has ALL available dlc and digital versions of some of the other things. Worth checking out.

I'm a console gamer primarily so I'll be scrambling to get an N7 edition tomorrow but probably to no avail.

This is very depressing. Sorry for you guys who wernt able to get your CE re-pre-ordered...I wonder if they will produce more ce after its been released...but whats the point then really. Well good night folks,try not to loose sleep over it.

EA are just as much to blame for choosing GAME and then not supplying enough Collector's Editions for the fan base. I have CE versions of Mass Effect 1 and 2 and now I will have a standard edition of ME3.

EA should put up the DLC included in the CE versions up on marketplace on day 1 to at least mitigate this cluster fudge. GAME stock prices are dropping like a waterfall too. I don't know who's fault it is but I feel terrible. Some people say it's "just a game" but when you wait two years and right at the last second you get it yanked away from you and given to other people then it gets to be sickening.

And regarding those multiple copies... I wonder how many of them will be going up on ebay at grossly inflated prices next week?

Personally I prefer the tangible product, but it would be nice if Origin were to provide a way to upgrade to the digital deluxe edition after I install/activate the game.

Sod it!! I just bought a European copy of ME3 CE. £10 more than my Game pre-order, but I'm done with this bull****!!!

According to Chris Priestly & a few other forum members, the game should run on a UK Xbox & be in English. Apart from the art book & comic which I didn't really care about anyway everything should be compatible (DLC codes & digital soundtrack) so why not! Yes it's more expensive, but less than the vultures on Ebay are asking atm. If it turns out to be localised language only I'll have to sell it on Ebay, probably priced cheap, but enough to cover my original costs.
This whole episode has left a bad taste in my mouth & I just want to play the game with the CE content & be happy. I'm still mad as hell right now, especially with Game (Not one more penny from me & I hope they burn ) but also partially EA, I mean they couldn't have been that naive, nobody could! So for now I have one pre-ordered, I might not get it on release day, but I will get it, that's the main thing!!

Well said and apparently some of "our" copies are already appearing there.

I for one am utterly disgusted, upset and furious about this whoal cluster***k. We were robbed and in a disgraceful way and I will never buy any kind of special edition game from EA ever again.

We were promised a Special edition and ended up with a special kind of "screw you"  Twice this kind of thing has happened to me. Never again I'm done.

Like I said in my post above, I ordered from France & got a CE. The game & it's CE content mean more to me than the comic or artbook & I have been told by Chris Priestly & other forum members that I can still chose English voice acting & subtitles, that was enough for me, more expensive, but less than Ebay prices!!!

It's from the colony, Wilkinson-land as it may have been once called. Surely that mitigates it somewhat?  I appreciate it may not be for everyone, but go past the label and the unboxing itself is quite nice.

Well, you might be waiting a long time! EA, not BioWare, call all the shots on marketing & distribution & they are about as likely to give people in our situation the extras for Game's ****-up as the Pope is to convert to Islam. Remember, EA allocated X number of copies to the UK (all through Game) now they've passed them on to other reatilers. EA has still sold all the copies allocated, so they couldn't care less.

BioWare could ask EA for a concession, but that would lose EA money & we all know EA loves making money, not losing it!

 I bought a PC version of the CE of Amazon France. I know the game itself will give me the option of turning everything into English, but what would it mean for the comic and art book? Will it be in French?

Could not agree more about the lack of response from anyone "official" about this situation.

I preordered from GAME specifically to get the N7 Warfare pack that came with armour and the Valkyrie Assault rifle... the N7 Arsenal pack in the CE doesn't come with those Bonuses (not as advertised anyway).

So now I won't be getting one of the specific items I wanted, someone has to step in and at least make that GAME exclusive DLC available in the marketplace.

I think if people can prove that they had pre-orders at GAME, then Bioware and EA should give them the DLC for free after all we have been agrieved and we are the loyal customers who pre-ordered nine months before release and it is us who are now suffering because we tried to keep our mass effect 3 spoiler free and didnt check the friggin internet!!

I so far have not had one single good experience with Play.com - they have (in the past) charged me for orders despite the item not being in stock, then not telling me they didn't have the item and I had to phone them for a refund. Recently I had a voucher for them and yet again they have proved themselves to be useless, the DVD box-set I ordered showed up broken and the DVDs scratched, some didn't work, I sent it back and initiated the returns process and I might as well have thrown it in the bin - it's vanished, they don't know where it is and therefore can't send me a replacement yet.

Anyway, that's why I've just ordered from Amazin, pretty bummed that I won't get the N7 pre-order bonus which GAME offered (Also, let's not hate on GAME - sure they could communicate better but up until now they have been far superior than Amazin and Play etc... I often got my orders the day before their release and they often sent email updates on my delivery etc - they were great)

Yes I just ordered mine from amazon france, cost me £10 more and will arrive a couple of day after release but I have been told it will be in english and I still get the CE yes the comic will be in french but I am more concerned over the dlc/soundtrack etc! 

Always hated game and was annoyed at being forced to preorder from them, this whole mess doesnt actually surprise me! I feel sorry for the employees at game but cant say I would be sorry to see the company go under!
