Why blame BioWare? They just make the game. Why blame EA? They manufactured all the discs, looked at Game's credit rating and, since they've got a low credit score, wanted a bit more for security. Game, knowing it had all these pre-orders, decided that they wanted to get in to a dick-waving competition with the largest game publisher there is, and said "Nah, I don't think so", and decided not to purchase the game. Don't blame EA, as soon as they were told no, they put the CE's on to 6 other sites for sale.

They could have handled it better. People who pre-ordered the CE version like me can no longer get it. I got this information late and now what I had as a previlage is no longer. Why couldn't they create a means for people like me to not loose out on our pre-orders by making us redeem out pre-orders else where? 

I would have gladly taken a show reciept and still pay full price at other retailers. But no we have to and pre-order again. And now what I had pre-ordered since November last year, I now have to scramble about the net trying to find one, while greedy people are selling it on ebay for £225. How is that fair?

It's not thier fault doesn't mean they can't handle situations. If they keep preaching to us we love our fans, we love our fans then show it. Show the fans you care in times like this and see your support rise. With all the dlc, pre-order and fiasco and buy this get code x for weapon y  and now this. I think gaming is starting to get very tiresome. Especially EA and Bioware games.

Pre ordered ages ago, just got the news last night and I am gutted. Feel sick that I will have that standard edition slotting in next to the two previous collector's editions, that when I am playing I'll know what I am missing to what I would have had.
No point writing any more everything I have tried to type is just so bitter and twisted, that I just keep deleting.

I honestly feel your pain. I'm stuck in the same position. Try HMv it's where I just pre-orered mine. Here is hoping that they actually deliver on the day. Fingers Crossed.

Some guy on this thread brought 16 copies. If he sells at £10 profit he gets £150 by doing nothing really. Pretty sad eh? he gets a free collectors edition and makes some profit on the side.

He will more likely put them up for bidding with a minimum to maximise profit, some people will take them.

I'm also one of former Game customers that preordered ME3 CE on July last year. Lucky I was browsing internet yesterday. As soon as I found out about Game preorder debacle I preordered on Zavvi (I also have preordered ME3 CE guide on Zavvi, so in couple of days I will get nice ME3 package). Cancelled on Game before them and deleted cedit card info from their web shop. Even deleted Diablo 3 CE preorder from them. Won't be checking their site for a very long time, if they don't close first.

Holy...16 copies?

I know I grabbed a Collectors Edition from Amazon but that was because it gave me the opportunity to use up my Christmas vouchers, I'd never have bought one from GAME.

I dunno about anybody else having managed to Pre-order the CE for a second time im not able relax till i see that it has been dispatched. who know what else could happen.

If you dont mind the art book/comic etc being in french there are still some on amazon.fr ( PC atleast)  i ordered one since i got screwed over by Game and didnt find out until way later in the day..hope it helps

If your looking Xbox/PS3 head over to HMV they seem to be selling the CE now.

Found out about this yesterday afternoon and quickly ordered it with shopto.net, still haven't had my email from game explaining why they cancelled it. shopto.net are usually cheaper and quicker, & pay by paypal = win win win.

dont think game are coming back from this one, focusing on pre-owned stock has been their downfall i think. Konami couldn't agree terms with them either for the game "Birds of Steel", ordered through shopto.net again.

Thanks Assassin, Just ordered from HMV - I'll settle for getting it late (not too late) as long as it arrives. This is my last big game before I get married, after this I'll not be able to play for days on end without pause or rest, and I couldn't think of a better game than mass effect.

HMV might be putting some online today. Earlier they released Xbox & PS3 copies, so why not PC as well?
