Interesting that they seem to be allocating more stock to Play.com

Now that I have one ordered from Amazon, I intend to sit back and watch how this plays out in terms of vendors getting this.

P.S. What are the odds some people are going to come back online later and **** about not getting a CE from the new vendors because HOW DARE EA ANNOUNCE IT WHILE THEY SLEEP or something like that?

That's strange, they're not listing HMV? I just cancelled my HMV order (''Pending cancellation from our fulfilment system'' anyway) and wen't with Blockbuster. Although I noticed you can't cancel orders with Blockbuster.

If I'm not mistaken, Blockbuster take your money straight away to lock you in to the purchase. Although I haven't ordered from them in years so that may no longer be the case

Can I just say that at this stage if EA give exclusive n7 content to one retailer, well that would be very silly.

Just give to all the CE customers EA, its only common sense. Doing anything else is just subjecting people that are willing to spend extra on your games to a "how much content will you get" lottery. Since none of us have really had much of a choice of where we ordered from, just a case of who had copies left, and when.

Will most definitely happen. I think EA are doing their best to help though in what is a rather messed up situation.

Thats what I like about humanity. When things go bad we manage to help and look after each other. Saw it in the riots last year and again now.

Should be something about this ingame. A colony under attack, Alliance dont send backup but the people manage to work together and survive until the hero arrives on the scene.

Damnation! Looks like I'll need to go cancel my play.com order naow if Blockbuster have indeed taken the money out of my account.
Ach well, I can only hope all the retailers get the N7 Warfare pack now...

it would appear EA are "attempting" to instil some fairness into this by releasing in batches to specific vendors. Almost siphoning them off bit by bit?

The fact that we are waiting on an anouncement can likely be taken that giving it to a select few (new) retailers who have paid for it, is likely to be the case. Whilst it would be idiotic when all the stock has already been bought up of the CE, it can still be used to drive pre-order sales of the SE.

This is one of the reasons why we cant get a copy for the PC!!!
I was one of many who pre ordered my copy from Game uk, only to find out yesterday that they will not stock it:(. I have tried all the links supplied on here to try and get another copy, only to find out all collectors editions are sold out!
To me, those people on the link above are worse than people who pirate the game.

Doesnt the update say they need to confirm the standard edition N7 pre-order pack? By the wording I get the impression that details for the CE are finalised they just have to finalise whats happening with the standard edition.

That's only the Digital edition. I'm just guessing that he wants a physical copy.
