I've just pre ordered the CE from Shopto after having it pre ordered from Game months ago.

I'ts absolutely disgusting that UK customers are just being informed about this now, just over a week away from the release date. If it wasn't for the OP's thread i wouldn't have found out at all probably, as my CE pre order is still on my Game account.

The CE was a Game/Gamestation exclusive and came with the pre order bonus N7 warfare pack. Who is offering this now if anyone?

I believe it's only right that all UK customers who have pre ordered the game are given the N7 warfare pack by Bioware/EA as a goodwil gesture, if no other retailers are offering it.

just heard of this and pre-ordered with Shopto due to my cancellation so if i don't get a CE i hope Bioware does.

Shopto.net are very reliable for preorders, they often get delivered a day or two early.

Don't preorder from multiple places to 'secure a copy' please. That's both idiotic and greedy. The sites listed are all reputable sellers, you will get your game from whichever you preorder from - just order from one.

Do you know whats worse now? all my friends are double ordering from different locations just to ensure they get a copy.. people who ordered way back last year who were "Guaranteed" a copy may not get theirs anymore..

How exactly is this EA/Bioware's fault? Alternative retailers were available as soon as Game Group cocked up. I fail to see how they're at fault.

GAME have taken the N7 PC version off their site but my preorder is still showing on my account and I've not recieved an E-mail or anything yet. Hope I don't get charged by them too. That really would be a kick in the teeth.

I pre-ordered 1 with game in September so i know how you feel. I'm probably going to cancel the Play one I am just reading through all these posts to see who the more reliable retailers seems to be

Game Group no doubt paid a lot of money for that exclusivity. It's not a move that you would anticipate to be followed by the same company then deciding to stop stocking all EA titles.

But I see your point. Only having one retailer was never going to be good for the consumer.

its not there concern take that part up with ea not bioware, as for the  problem with the game and such that has nothing to do with ea at all, the game will no doubt go out business after this, that or will sell off what other games they have to stay  a float and they gave you where to go in that list, go talk them do not blame bioware for a retailers problems

i know from first hand experiences since i own a gaming store that once you pay,order,receive and for that order the publisher has no say in the mater, if a store cant meet its financial day to day goal then they wont be able to buy the games that they can sell..

I'd go further. All CE preorders not honored due to the stock frenzy should get; from ashes, N7 firepower pack and all other CE editions, as they were forced to order from GAME UK due to exclusivity rights from EA.

It's not the consumers fault EA signed exclusivity rights to a faltering company.

(In Aus, probably not effected by this, but orderd from Game AU so Who TFKs)

Play still list the CE as available across all platforms.

Thank God I accidentally hit the favourite link to the forums today, I've been avoiding the site for the last 2 weeks! I normally just lurk but this is a disgrace and should be addresed. I've had a pre-order since announcement and would have been blissfully unaware until my order didn't show up!

Friend of mine who prordered too late and missed out on the N7 has just managed to get a copy of it now. This means he's effectively "stolen" someone else' copy. I'm happy he got a copy but annoyed that someone out there is gonna miss out now.

As I said before, I doubt EA specifically hand picked GAME for exclusivity.  As far as high street electronic retailers go, they're pretty much the one of the few options for those of us in the UK (unless there's an HMV or Gamestation [owned by GAME]).

this is  true its never good to try to soak up all the business i.e like gamestop and make them go out business with special  offers and  only able to get said  ce from  them only.

Ditto, ordered in June. I haven't cancelled with GAME yet, I'm waiting for when they actually get in contact, surely there should be some sort of compensation. really sad news this is. ive just pre-ordered with Zavvi as a back up.

there are 3 main causes of this situation

1.EA is producing very limited quantities of the CE making it expensive for retailers in the first place.
2. game group has been in financial trouble for some time since the recession hit.
3. the UK governement isnt levying the taxes on the UK videogames industry as they are with other industries, making it harder for the industry all round.

i really hope game can recover from this and be around for years yet, ive grown rather fond of them and their customer service is far better than most. i can see why they would be shady about this, after all it is crippling news.

should i pre-order again with another retailer to make sure my one with zavvi doesnt go bust?

Wow this is terrible news, im glad i decided to go with the dde from origin (mainly cos im greedy and they had all the packs and dlc). I really hope you guys manage to get new orders sorted.

I wouldn't wait if I were you. I'd go with shop.to or play.com.

I highly recommend shop.to they guarantee delivery for release day and it's free delivery.

I just got my confirmation that GAME will not be delivering my copy of ME3, that sucks now I have to go to another place and buy it. I wish EA told us who will get the warfare pack so that I could pre-order from them. I am very disappointed in GAME.

You're being ridiculous. That is a major risk for any business and you are not fully understanding how it works. EA won't instantly make their credit back due to game sales it doesn't work that way.

They aren't going to give a company something when that company doesn't have stable finances and is asking people to take huge risks financially.

But i guess some people want to blame EA for EVERYTHING.
