Couldn't they just give the Warfare pack and Argus rifle to us as DLC free of charge on XBL or PSN and ORIGIN for a day or two to make up for the trouble ?

all 3482 were allocated to game, who also had allocations of the N7 Warfare pack. They had 3482 + however many pre orders they got for the standard edition.

Now they won't be stocking the game, the N7 warfare pack has to be given to some other retailers, they will be including it in all standard copies of the game as a pre order exclusive. This is clearly explained in the press release.

Logic would dictate that now these 3482 copies have been split up among the various retailers, every single one will come with the already allocated DLC. This is common sesnse, what isn't common sense is who would give away the N7 warfare pack with the SE. THIS needed to be clarified. They have clarified this.

Remember, the GAME debacle didn't just affect people who wanted the CE - it affected people who wanted the standard edition with warfare pack - EA has to look out for THOSE guys too.

They couldn't have put it in clearer English.

BUT if it makes you feel better getting an actual thumbs up on this from EA, then please keep quoting this post to keep it alive. Lets not all get hysterical.

No I've had enough heartbreak. All respect for EA is lost never had any respect left for Game but EA forced me to do business with them (Thanks a bunch EA) I may get a digital collectors edition or I may do what happened after the DA2 signature edition debachle and forget this game exists I've just had enough now.

When mass effect 2 came out for the UK, we weren't able to get a pre order bonus with the collector's edition, which game exclusively stocked. In the US you could get the terminus armour and collector's edition at GameStop. I spent a large amount of time going back and forth asking Bioware and retailers about this. In the end had I not paid extra to get a terminus code on eBay, I'd woulden't have the terminus pack or be able to get it at all.

The same thing appears to be happening here, if I was in the US I could get the collectors edition with the N7 warfare pack, game were apparently meant to have the N7 pack, but then never seemed to update about it, and now with not stocking it, I wont be able to get it there.

Even the Argus 55 rifle, which on the mass effect 3 page was cited as for "all pre-orders", with the escape clause of at specific retailers, seems to be a singular shopto.net store exclusive, and only for regular editions.

The sad thing is, even if some people at Bioware/EA sympathise, I doubt much will happen, I'm probably part of a small minority, first being from the UK as opposed to the US, secondly for caring so much about small pre-order bonuses so much. Regardless of how everyone else feels, this is the way *I* personally feel, and even if others agree/disagree, no one can say I'm in the wrong for caring about this.

I don't think I'm unreasonable for wanting all purchasers of mass effect to have access to the same offers or bonuses as all the others.

Looks like a couple of retailers are still offering the PS3 version. And Sainsbury's are offering both console versions. But it looks like - unless they're going to add any more retailers - the PC version is now unavailable.

its added to my play.com order too, glad ea/bioware have been doing their best to fix games mess, and i really hope people who havent gotten the n7 ce for pc manage to get it soon, i always buy my games from play.com for about 7yrs now and have never had any problems, plus they are great with bonus pre order stuff

I second this. Have you visited EA's help forums at all? Logic has no place there at all, where forum moderators and customer service executives give you links to "ERROR: PAGE NOT FOUND"....

Looking at Zavvi website if I read the replies right looks like CE pre-orders from Zavvi will get the warfare pack etc....

Actually it has everything to do with this. Remember, GAME didn't only have the exclusivity for the N7 CE, it also had exclusivity to the pre-order bonus. More people will have pre-ordered the SE from game than Pre-ordered the CE from game, therefore my point stands. Technically you helped me make it, as there are more SE pre-orders who are shafted by game than N7. True, all 100% of the N7 Pre-orders are effected, but that doesn't mean there are more of us.

Also, bear in mind that I never said that N7CE shouldn't get it, I know that I want it myself and am waiting to find out if I shall, I just said that lets wait and see if EA only cater to SE people, or if they are merely catering to them before us. 

Also, I'd like to point out that, as much as I am not the biggest fan of EA's methods, they are currently trying to correct a mistake that lies wholly at the feet of GAME. If GAME weren't certain that they'd be able to come up with the financial packing to get credit from EA, they should never have reserved exclusivity.

And I don't refute any of that, but as you said, people who are ordering N7 have most likely been effected so it would make sence to prioritise these customers first. Im not against people who ordered SE getting the DLC, quite the opposite infact but as I said they have there priorites backwards.

Errrrrrmmmmmmm, if you pre-ordered from Shop.to you have the option to buy the "N7 Warfare Pack" for £9.85, really EA/whoever thoguht of this! I now have to pay £10 extra if I want to get something I was going to get for free 2 days ago because I didn't choose the right retailer to order from? VERY unimpressed whoever thought of this one, VERY unimpressed!

It's stuff like this that really doesn't do EA any favours when it comes to people thinking of them as money grabbing so and so's either, I rarely rage about anything but this is absolutely ridiculous!

Alright man, just remember one thing. YOU enjoy playing Mass Effect. YOU are willing to pay to play it and have gone out of your way to try and do so, but have been, as previously discussed been screwed over by EA. In all fairness, then, it would seem that you DESERVE to play it. Don't put yourself through the whole crappy ordeal of sitting in the sidelines watching everyone else enjoy what wee can safely assume will be an astounding game. This won't do anything to damage EA, but will make you go thru even more ****e for no reason. Just do what you feel but I would suggest at least getting the standard edition.

Come on EA, keep working on it.  Lots of us had that preorder stuff secured almost 8 months ago.  It's not our fault yourselves and GAME couldn't sort your issues out.  I've pre ordered again through 2 different retailers, one of them had better be getting the N7 warfare pack, and if they arent getting it for the CE at shopto, then why the hell are they advertising it for the standard edition right now?
