Actually, you don't have the option to buy it for 9.85. It's just the way ShopTo's system handles pre-order bonuses. It will be added to your pre-order for no additional cost.

Actually it has everything to do with this. Remember, GAME didn't only have the exclusivity for the N7 CE, it also had exclusivity to the pre-order bonus. More people will have pre-ordered the SE from game than Pre-ordered the CE from game, therefore my point stands. Technically you helped me make it, as there are more SE pre-orders who are shafted by game than N7. True, all 100% of the N7 Pre-orders are effected, but that doesn't mean there are more of us.

Also, bear in mind that I never said that N7CE shouldn't get it, I know that I want it myself and am waiting to find out if I shall, I just said that lets wait and see if EA only cater to SE people, or if they are merely catering to them before us. 

Also, I'd like to point out that, as much as I am not the biggest fan of EA's methods, they are currently trying to correct a mistake that lies wholly at the feet of GAME. If GAME weren't certain that they'd be able to come up with the financial packing to get credit from EA, they should never have reserved exclusivity.

And I don't refute any of that, but as you said, people who are ordering N7 have most likely been effected so it would make sence to prioritise these customers first. Im not against people who ordered SE getting the DLC, quite the opposite infact but as I said they have there priorites backwards. 

I'm not saying that though. I'm saying that although 100% of all N7 pre-orders are affected , if there are twice as many SE pre-orders which are affected then it makes sense to give them the priority as there are more of them. Sadly I don't know the numbers so I can't back it up, but I have a feeling that more SE people got shafted than N7 people.

We just got shafted harder.

Anyway, I know you're not saying they shouldn't get it, and I'm not saying that we shouldn't get it. I think we both agree that EA should just make it simple and give it to everyone.

Same here, only found out about this about 15 minutes ago, been searching for somewhere else to pre-order the N7 Collector's for PC and so far I've had zero luck! Every site I've checked appears to be out of stock on the PC version of the N7 Collector's Edition. Is there any chance at all now?

This really isn't good for GAME or EA/BioWare, why have they left it until just over a week before the release to make this announcement?

Dish out a few CE's to a few retailers...let our custmers take pot luck..and the ones who miss out...can pay a few more quid...

Really wish they went out of business,...instead of puttign other game companies out of business....Bioware will be next I assure you...don't anyone think Bioware are bigger than they are, they are EA now, and the only reason the company name is still in buisness is because it saves EA thousands in tax every year...they will go the way of Westwwod, as when it comes to a Bioware release...this is becoming all to frequent unfortunately.

Just a reminder to folks.

If you want the CE edition for PC you can still order the Digital Deluxe edition from Origin which is the same as the CE and has all the DLC, warfare pack and the Origin exclusive Shotgun too.

The downside is thats its not a physical copy so the artbook and other extras are all digital too if your worried about that.

Or that's the general impression I'm getting right now, regarding this whole retailer pre-order DLC situation.

The fact that some retailers only seem to be offering the Warfare Pack for SE pre-orders is frankly ridiculous.

I have already had to re-order a product I pre-ordered 4 months ago... and now I am not even getting the content I would have been previously.

can pre-order through mightyape (Google it) and pay through PayPal/Bank

As you said..it's not physical...so please tell me...how exactly is it the same?

No I've had enough heartbreak. All respect for EA is lost never had any respect left for Game but EA forced me to do business with them (Thanks a bunch EA) I may get a digital collectors edition or I may do what happened after the DA2 signature edition debachle and forget this game exists I've just had enough now.

Alright man, just remember one thing. YOU enjoy playing Mass Effect. YOU are willing to pay to play it and have gone out of your way to try and do so, but have been, as previously discussed been screwed over by EA. In all fairness, then, it would seem that you DESERVE to play it. Don't put yourself through the whole crappy ordeal of sitting in the sidelines watching everyone else enjoy what wee can safely assume will be an astounding game. This won't do anything to damage EA, but will make you go thru even more ****e for no reason. Just do what you feel but I would suggest at least getting the standard edition.

No, thats actually good advice. The saying "don't cut your nose off ro spite your face" comes to mind.

Why punish yourself and not buy the game? EA won't care, each and every one of us is a grain of sand in a desert. We're insignificant so not buying the game only hurts you. All I can say is take it on the chin like me; the whole ordeal was a mess - and I blame EA just as much as I blame GAME. However, I'm sure ME3 will kick ass, so I hope you do get it and I hope you feel better playing it.

Got my Collector's edition pre-order on play.com upgraded to say it comes with the N7 Warfare pack now... I feel really bad for anyone who will miss out due to this entire craptastic fiasco. Now to sit and hope Play.com can actually deliver on this pre-order.

It would make even more sence to prioritize people who started to pre order from 29/02/12, as it's a pretty safe bet these people were effected. It just irks me that I could be loosing out on somthing that I was set to have to people that clearly wern't bothered by it at all. But yeah, I do hope that it ends up with there being enough codes to go around for everyone.

The plus of getting DDE from Origin is that you can play it on Monday 5th March at 3pm due to using Korean VPN. That is almost 5 days early for us Europeans/UK.
