There are at least two more NPCs for Engineering. Allers is in Zaeed's old room and Tali is somewhere down there.crazyrabbits wrote...
Seriously, though, the ship and the placement of the characters are strange. As noted, the Normandy in ME2 was built around the characters. Now most of the squadmates and crew are in random areas - do they change locations at all? There's little point going to Engineering unless you want to do the side mission from the lone NPC, and there's a whole bunch of space on the ship that's going unused. I don't remember the cargo bay being so huge and having so much empty space in it from the previous game.
The video mentions EDI being sometimes in the AI core and sometimes on the bridge. So they do change locations. At least EDI does.

I don't see Aria joining the Normandy. Allers is in Zaeed's room, which he didn't show for some reason. Probably because he (rightfully) kicked her off.AlphaJarmel wrote...
So much empty and unneeded space. My guess is Javik goes into Thane's area, Tali into engineering, and possibly Aria into the nightclub area.
Oh I do she lost Omega and in the comic she vows to take it back . so yeah you can expect a Omega dlc .

That quest might already be in the game and have her as an asset, maybe?

I think Tali changes place at least one time too.

The only one whom is a bit out of place (imho) is Ashley, in ME she was in the Shuttle bay along with Garrus and Wrex, sure Garrus is now in his more familiar spot in the ship weapons area, but it would make sense for Ash to be in the Shuttle bay just as Vega and Cortez are.
One thing to note, in the IGN one, they didn't have anyone in the room Ash was in on the CVG one, so has me wondering if they had Kaidan, in which case... I wonder if Kaidan is in his old spot... which is now the kitchen area

Dangit, I hope we can get Hawthorne back on the crew, be interesting if he'd have anything to say about the new cook

The new Normandy is great. Awesome. That's the ship I was waiting for since ME1

Why not fit the scanner in the airlock room along with the decontamination device (actually makes me wonder if that is making a return?)

Aww, nice to see Liara brought her pet on board too! I don't know about anyone else, but I liked that little holographic thing.

Side mission i guess?

Fair point. I guess Tali will return to her old ME2 station then as well. It'd be nice to see some Adams/Tali conversation sometimes. ME1 did kind of build a good friendship between the two.Vez04 wrote...

So did the Alliance not finish modifying the ship? or were they just pulling wires and crap out to see how Cerberus built it?
It looks like they stripped some stuff down. No big deal, it gives it more of a militant look in my opinion. It's not as pretty but looks roomier.
As far as people not moving around, I don't think they're intended to be constantly on the move. I think from time to time you'll see them in different areas. It's more realistic that way, they still have jobs to do.
Liara and the Shadow Broker base story is interesting. I'd love to see how they fill in the holes there.
Aria on the ship possibly? Yes please. She's without a doubt the best looking asari in game (sorry Liara).
I'm very curious as to who can or will be on that ship according to your choices. This is going to be fun.
