I was just wondering if decisions made AFTER completing the main quest line will be carried over in the Mass Effect 2 saves, or just the decisions you make BEFORE completing the main quest line.
I'm asking because I beat the game, doing a lot of side quests. But then when I went back and looked I still had around 7 or 8 N7 missions left to complete. One of those missions required me to either choose to save an industrial complex, or a city.
I'm sure this in some way will make its way to Mass Effect 3. I was just wondering if I have to replay the entire game completing all side quests BEFORE I finish the main quest line, or is it okay that I completed them AFTER and they will still transfer over?

Your real question is what decisions will be imported into ME3 from ME2 and whether when you completed the mission will have an effect. At this moment in time it would be conjecture as ME3 isn't out yet.
It is likely that any post-Suicide Mission game where Shepard lives can be imported, when in time the save is after that is a judgement call. I would hazard a guess that you could import a post-Suicide Mission save with no sidequests completed or a fully completed post-Suicide Mission save (one where all sidequests are completed).
You want a solid confirmation? Wait until ME3 is out then certainty will be available.
