I already love the pvp, and the demo. I don't need some one to tell me I like something.
Besides, I am not sure that the reviewers are entirely subjective anyway. Does more swag equal better reviews? Don't know, don't care.
I will find out soon enough. Pre-ordered..

Agreed. The only down-side is waiting. Waiting gets you: lower price, more bug fixes, richer community.rob593 wrote...
I don't buy games at release anymore, haven't done for a long time, I see no advantage buying at release when you can wait 6-12 months and buy it on a sale, in fact I see only disadvantages to buying at release.
Savings, IRA, investment - you can do a lot of more useful things with "extra money".El_Chala_Legalizado wrote...

Extra money is that: Extra money, I don't need it, not even to go out
with my pals and get drunk. It's just leftovers accumulated from other
purchases.

DA2 is not that bad. They removed the sandboxing though, which hurted. But the theme itself was cool.
Eh, DA2 was confusing for me. There were parts I really liked, but there were others that I didn't.
However, it got to the point where I just couldn't finish the game. Aside from FemHawke herself, I felt nothing for the characters or any real engagement in the situation in the game. That's what broke the game for me.
On topic, I don't care for reviews. First off, numerical values over an experience is just a load of ****ocks. Not only is it an oversimplistic cop-out for those too lazy to even look at what has been put into the game, but they are highly manipulative. Why is an 85% game now considered average? It's completely mental.
Secondly, their experience will be different from mine. They may be more forgiving/critical of certain elements than I would be, and some things that may not understand, I may be the opposite.

I find metacritic numbers to be pretty useful actually. Say a 70% game is a good ride for a weekend, an 85% game is a decent game with some flaws, and a 90%+ is most likely a winner. Anything lower than 70% might be fun, but definitely not for full price.

But of course this isn't a problem. No. $10 dlc is the problem.
Ah, Starcraft 2. If those factions were taken out of vanilla Starcraft, then yes, that too is a problem But how is that an excuse for BioWare to also exploit DLC?

How is From Ashes exploitation in any way?
The Collector's Edition was always marketed as having a squadmate the retail game wouldnt have. You're lucky that you can get it at all without getting the CE.
People just like to **** I guess.

If you're going to wait and read a few reviews or rent it for a little while first or play it at a friend's place first to try it out, then great! We thank you for considering us and hope that, when you do play it, you enjoy it!
If you're choosing to not buy or play the game, for whatever reason, then great! I'm sorry we couldn't tempt you this time and we hope you'll find one of our future products more to your liking. Thank you for your support.

I always encourage people to be knowledgeable, responsible consumers. If you preordered because you love Mass Effect that much and know that you'll probably like it, then great! we thank you for your support and hope you're not disappointed.

I'm not sure which class/race you're talking about, but the expansions added WAY more content than anything that was already developed on release. Give me a break.
