Hello fellow forum posters,
I have a couple questions regarding various games and content contained within ME1 and ME2 world. Also, I will be playing the PC version of the game. I am not yet familiar with the Mass Effect universe, but I am very familiar with Dragon Age: Origins universe. As such, please forgive me if I make analogies to DA:O on this post.
Firstly, is there a ME1 and ME2 game edition version that include all the story and content-related DLCs? As comparison, with DA:O they have the "Dragon Age : Ultimate Edition" version of the game which includes the main game and expansion, plus all the story- and content-related DLCs in it for a bargain price. The only thing it doesn't include are 3 collector edition's in-game items, but none of the story- or content-related additions are left out.
If there isn't any such "compilation" edition, would you mind outlining which DLCs of all the available ones, would give additional story or content to the core game? I am not concerned with the DLCs that will only give you in-game items but not any new additional story/plot/content/companion, those so-called "item packs".
Finally, which of those story/content DLCs are integrated into the game, and which of them are separate campaigns? For example in DA:O, some of the DLCs such as Warden's Keep, Stone Prisoner, and Return or Ostagar are integrated into your main playthrough; while the other DLCs such as Golems of Amgarrak, Leliana's Song, and Witch Hunt are separate campaigns.
Thank you for any help and replies beforehand.
