I once skipped school to play Golden EYE 007 with my friend in the basement all the frigging day(friday)

The next day (saturday) her mother needed to draw us out with screaming power surpassing the wildest Banshee so we got to take a shower. We were so greasy with all those bag of Doritos we ingested. Ahh It's was awesome.

Super dirty and greasy playing in total darkness .. Best day of my life!!

I can understand if someone took holiday for a game release, I have before. But I would never quit my job over a game. Even ME3

I've spending all day coming up with lines to tell my boss I quit and to declare it for ME3! 

"Whos the boss now? I won't be doing al this expensive work for you anymore, I'll be saving the Galaxy in Mass Effect 3, oh by the way I could give a turtle less about your damn yacht parties and fancy women!"

I think I will say that to him. Then I will never stop playing ME3, because ihave to see every cutscene which means going back and playing ME 1-2 over and over until i get to see everything that can possibly happen, including every ending, cutscene and decision branch permutation.

Oh on the note of not showing up and just get fired sometimes they won't give you unemployment if you do something like that or something toxic or dangerous in your work location,..thats what i heard in my unemployment meeting a few years back.
