Will there be any bad results if I pre-order the game from Origin using a different acount to the one I used to get ME2 DLC?
I played the demo with one acount, and have built up a multiplayer charicter with that. I wan't to play ME3 with this acount if possible.
I played ME2 (and got all the DLC) with a family members acount as they had had a little go before I got to it and registered the cerberus network code.
Will I still be able to carry over my charicter and the results of my DLC if I play/buy from Origin ME3 with another acount? I really need an answer quickly as I had previously pre-ordered ME3 from Game UK.
Playing game with new account.

i dont think so tbh. DLCs are tied to the account. All demo progress will be erased however, so no harm done.

So it will prevent me from carrying progress over if I use a new account? I was also under the impression the multi-player characters carried into the full game from the demo.

All data is in your savegames. A new account doesn't make any difference.
Nothing will carry over. All your unlocks will be gone when you install ME3. Sucks, I know, but that's how it is

@ Fortack, so that means that I would be safe to pre-order from Origin with my new account, and it won't effect my ability to import my progress?
Woo!
However that bit about the multiplayer means I'll stop putting quite so much effort into it...
If I end up having to share and account, would that impact the multiplayer at all, or is each multiplayer thing linked to a single-player profile (in other words, I could have one play through, and my family member another and our multi-player accounts/characters would be completely separate?

Just bumming because this is getting burred and I'd really like some more solid conformation.

unforseeable results. I think the game will simply not load since it has content not present in your current installation. As for MP it would seem logical yes that they will be separate. as you can play multiple characters in one game, regardless who is controlling them.Void Effect wrote...

@ ncknck
Thanks for the input, I've looked at the save file code (mainly random characters) and can't find any hint that it knows about accounts, though I suspect you may be right as ME2 won't play if DLC is installed but I'm not logged into the right account.
