I am looking over the Dragon Age wikis now in attempt to become as immersed in the world as I can come game day (already read both the books) and thought it might be fun for any of us RolePlayers with some last many questions to ask the veteran lore keepers around here. So if you are someone with a question, ask away. And if you are someone with the knowledge to answer, answer away.

Alright I have a couple to start off with:

- Was the ENTIRE Chant of Light written by Andraste?
- Are the old god's ACTUALLY dragons, or is that just the form they take?

Thanks in advance to any lore keepers who join this thread willing to help out. I know that a lot of this information will be able to be found within the wikis and search engine (which we should all use of course) but it will be nice to get some last minute answers before diving into the game.

None of the Chant of Light was written by Andraste. The Chant of Light was *sung* by Andraste, and remained an oral tradition for several decades after her death. Others wrote it down. Not all of it is attributed to her, however.



The Imperium worshiped the Old Gods in the form of dragons, but considered them gods.

I'd call this a spoiler thread and placed in the wrong section, however, I do have a question:

What is the state of the Grey Wardens in the Imperium? Are they welcomed? Reviled? Do they have their regular status, with tithes & the right of conscription, etc, or does that only apply to all the other nations of Thedas?
