I was going to go to my local Gamestop's midnight release—when I was still excited about the game. Due to recent developments, I will be picking it up after work the day of release.

 I originally had the N7 edition pre-ordered at GAME but which means I was caught up in the problems with that retailer where they are now unable to fulfil the pre-orders so now I've put in a new order with Zavvi.co.uk and I'm hoping that the game gets here on release day as I've booked off the Friday and Monday to play it. (normally book a week off but have just started a new job and haven't earned the days off yet:()

I pre-ordered from Amazon back in December--Couldn't do the midnight release because I might be tempted to play all night when I have two midterms Tuesday afternoon. Still, it works out as a bit of a reward for studying so hard XD

EDIT: Pre-ordered N7 Collector Edition, paid off some 4 months ago.

Can you still get the CE on release day or afterwards? (I know that sounds like a silly question) as I am one to get physical copies.

Most've waited an additional 3-5 months. So, what's a couple of days gonna hurt. Note, I am just thinking about getting it and yeah, you're right about CEs being scarce,

For some reason, when i read this I pictured someone walking out of a Gamestop, game in hand. A cartoony gamer suddenly pops up beside him, says "yoink!" and runs off with the game. It amused me.

Preorder from Amazon, to be delivered to my house mostly likely between 11am and 4 pm if past history is anything to go by. I'm so hyped up that for ME2/DA2 I actually managed to be out in my driveway before the exited the big brown truck. I feel sorry for the guy or gal on duty next week, they'll be lucky if I don't rabidly attack the truck as it goes by or rip there arm off in my haste. *Goes back to constructing hunting blind at driveway entrance*

Pre-ordered the CE back in June. I get to pick it up on the 5th, and then let it rest on my desk until the servers open up and I actually get to play it on the 9th. Might happen earlier, but I seriously doubt it... at least I'll get to look at the litho. Art Book's a no-no because of spoilers.

If you don't live in US, you don't have to wait till it's 9th of March. Just use free vpn service with origin (PC version for you I guess) for activation and stay offline while you're gaming aka Origin process is on. That is NOT illegal at least where I live.:happy:

I would go to a midnight launch, but I would rather not freeze to death for 20 minutes [Yeah thats right I show up at midnight and stand in the back of the line, beats waiting 3 hours.] just to play the game for an hour and go to bed...so yeah ill just pick up my CE on launch day when gamestop opens up.

Midnight release for my COLLECTOR'S EDITION at my local Gamestop. Also preorder a standard edition for my brother through Origin(xbox 360 physical copy). Did it mostly for the shotty.

EA Singapore, we're a day ahead of you guys in North America, yipeeeeeeeeee! Although activation will still be locked though for obvious reasons, shame!
