soldier first ('canon' shepard) then infiltrator (basically do everything opposite to my 'canon' one)

My canon Shep was a Sentinel until I played the demo. Now that Tech Armor is horrible, I replayed ME1 & ME2 as an Engineer (which became my second favorite class in ME2).

Infiltrator, theres something incredibly satisfying about stealthing behind the enemy and then blowing them away with a point blank shotgun blast to the back of the head.

Vanguard. And might go for Soldier then.

VANGUARD - Charge! - (also Soldier because of the big guns) - depends on weapon selection in ME3.

Soldier or Infiltrator.

Usually run as an adept, but after trying out the vanguard, I'm not so sure

Infitrator or Solider

You know, for as pointless as the soldiers abilities are... I will probably play through singleplayer as one. I always hated having to pause to find the one ability I wanted to use in combat from my wheel, and even with the two hot-keyed powers I was still annoyed with it. However, playing the multiplayer demo has made me change this viewpoint, as you cannot pause to use your powers... So I am thinking that it is finally time to play mass effect with a class other than a Soldier... However nothing feels better than mowing down a squad of Cerberus troops with one pull of the Revenant

If Vanguards continue to suck in ME3 I will be forced to switch to a sentinel for my Insanity Playthrough. I may use the Vanguard on a future lower difficulty playthrough..Does anyone know if the advanced training powers transfer from ME2 if you import your char?

Adept for my first playthrough then either Engineer or Vanguard.
I've heard they don't to allow new powers later in the game.

I have two soldiers, one adept and one engineer to import. After that I want to make a run as a infiltrator through all three games. Never liked the vanguard but thats just personal preference...

Sentinel was the first class I chose in ME1 and it's still my favourite (I loved how in ME1 you could use Sentinel + Singularity as power bonus
).
I also like Adept and Engineer though

Adept & Soldier. Liked all classes except Vanguard but did my Insanity run with soldier and I increasingly find myself playing as adept.
