I've got nothing against players who want to micro manage before going to battle, but there are times where I would wait way too long because other players take their sweet time micro managing; I assume. I think the lobby needs atleast a 1 to 2 minute time limit. Like how most Fighting games have a timer when it comes to selecting your fighter.
I want there to be a time limit in the Lobby

OR a Kick Player button.
........................
In all seriousness, a timelimit is probably a good idea.

I actually like this idea. 3min and then you get kicked, no harm in that at all, only good. In private it would be disabled. Perfect =)

Honestly I think 3 mins is too long. I think 2 mins. is fine if you just finished a game and want to level up, change weapons, use the store, etc. For QuickSearch games where the game has just been created I would figure 1 minute would be plenty.
Edit: If you've been playing with a party a while an option for a bathroom break and 3-4 minutes would be good

Seems pretty reasonable to me.

I definitely support this

Yeah "Quick match" shouldn't take 15 minutes because XxUbercoolXx can't figure out which ammo power to take.

They could add an option to "pause countdown" that works just like the kick, e.g. needing 3-4 votes.

How about a start without them option?

I second to this.

I don't think that should work. It should be that if majority are ready then the game starts in 15seconds or a little bit more. If the last player doesn't ready by that time they get booted. And the slot gets filled when game starts

good idea. 2 min. seems reasonable definitely.

Usually what happens to me is one person takes their time while everyone else is ready to go. I played a multiplayer game once where when three of the four players were ready it would start counting down from 15 and then just start. Whether the person said they were ready or not. And if all else fail, just kick the player.

If the timer is even 5 minutes I'd be okay with it, I just feel a timer in the lobby would help "mainstream" our gaming experience.

I suppose 2min warning wouldn't be so bad

Its called quick match for a reason.

Sorry but people who play with their friends don't really mind waiting a bit even if someone needs to go afk for a few minutes.
There is a kick button. Use it.

Against it. In full private matches, this is actually counterproductive, where everyone is in party chat anyway and knows what is going on.

This will not work.
What you will see with is countless AFK or leaving players at the beginning of the match.
At least with the current system we can use the "kick" button or just leave the lobby and search for another.

2 minute cumulative autoboot timer, so toggling ready on and off wont save your trolling ass from the bootbot, punts dished out this way should apply a 3 minute wait timer on the booted person before they can join another game.

I have a 30 second time limit before I start looking for another group, unless there are people I know in the lobby

When all but 1 player have signalled "Ready", the last player should face a timer of no more than 30 seconds to ready or leave.

I have to be in the group against this. I play with my friends all the time in a full party. Sometimes they need cigarette breaks and I need to get snacks or do whatever. It works in huge lobbies like in CoD but this is a much smaller lobby where its easier to get together with friends to fill the entire lobby.
As some have stated before, that's why the kick button is there.
