I think this generally solves itself. Once more people know how to use the kick button, this kind of problem with probably go away.

The biggest issue is if the AFKer is the Host, and then the game has to try to migrate, and sometimes breaks...

Best time limit would be 1 minute. I don't think it should kick players, it should force start the game.

For public matches yes; for private matches no.

Don't really like to kick people so I usually just leave if people take more than a minute or two. The only way this could work is if it were for quick matches only. As others have said when you are in a private match with friends there should not be a problem with you waiting and not knowing why.

Just kick the player. Double-click their name, hit the kick player button. Couldn't be more simple.
