 Than Im pretty pissed. Garrus is pretty much the only squad mate From that List I care for at all.. Like sigh..

I wanted Grunt or Legion back because those were my teams in ME2 and Wrex and Garrus was in ME1 But I get a bunch of people I could care less about


Call it a rant or not.. But Im pretty angry about this squad list. Now I have to use a squad mate with Garrus I could care less about lol

At least we'll get to encounter old squaddies during the course of the game . I don't think the list's too bad though - saving the galaxy together with Tali and Garrus will be fun and I'm thinking about keeping Prothy in the group most of the time

The main purpose of the crew is to get most of the original crew back, which is why it's very ME1 centric. Don't worry though, all the characters from ME2 come back and hang out with you.

For about an hour or two... Mass effect isn't complete without a Krogan squad mate.True story

I honestly can't feel the same with a squad of Garrus and some nobody lol

WARNING! INCOMING RANT!

IDK why they (Bioware) insist on keeping Tali. I've hated her for like 4 years now, and now I'll have to do more missions surrounding her. I HATE TALI!!!! Then they seem to be taking away squad mates that I've come to admire (Thane, Jack, Samara, & Legion). This game is supposed to be about options. So why not have more options for your squad? "Shepard the reapers are here! Form a smaller team!" Not a real quote, but it plays in my head all the time. I have other concerns about the game, but they aren't relevant to the topic at hand. I'll just say this; sequels will always be a letdown in some way.

This being the last of the trillogy I just expected a squad list with all my favorites...

Legion not being a squaddie does seem really strange. He's so popular for getting so little time in ME2. They practically owe it to the character.

Having a good Krogan seemed like a tradition.

Something that the fans discussed just after ME2 was released was the idea that in ME3, maybe we could have a certain number of slots to recruit characters, and we could recruit whoever we wanted from the previous 2 games.

So for example, We have 10 slots. With my 10 slots, I am bringing back Ashley,Kasumi,Miranda,Garrus,Wrex,Jack,Thane,Tali,Legion and Grunt. Other people could have different selections. The idea being that this is the last game in the trilogy and there really is no need for new characters,considering basically the point of ME2 was building "The Team"

Its a shame they did not implement any of this.

There is a difference between YOUR favorite squad mates, and another persons favorite squad mates.

Im happy with the squad. It has most of my favs in it. ME2 had too many pointless squadmates like: Samara, Grunt, Jacob, Thane (as much as I like Thane).

I don't get people liking Miranda. Or Ashley, Kaiden and Jacob, they are all just so boring. I like half the squad we're given and I'm indifferent about the rest... minus the VS. I would love to have Jack and Legion and one or the other of Grunt or Wrex back. But to be honest I'm just going to play and see how I like the characters and see how I can balance a team, I've never played with just the two I liked the most or anything, I've played with who can benefit me the most in battle.

In ME1 that was always Kaiden and Wrex/Liara, or Tali and any Biotic. Because that way I had a way to take down shields and aften charging Krogan could be stopped with a good Biotic push.

In ME2, it varied greatly, but as long as I had overload and either warp or fire I was gooc, Most common team was Mordin and Garrus.

I really liked Legion and Grunt and Samara and....well I'm sure you could guess the other one.
