 Do we really get Tali late again?  Come on, what is with this bs that Garrus is always first on the list of available squadmates and Tali is near the end?  It's just ridiculous.  I love Garrus, seldom leave the Normandy without him, but can Tali get some love?  I'm pretty sure that there's a dev post around here that stated that Tali would get Extra love due to her overwhelming popularity but appearently that isn't the case.  Lame.  Also, people only hate on Tali because she's popular and hating on popular is what the "cool kids" do.  There's absolutely zero reason to actively hate Tali, she does nothing but support Sheppard good or bad.

The ME2 squadmates were just never going to be full squadmates in ME3 if they were then they never would have made them killable in ME2. The ones they wanted till the end were kept out of ME2 yes they kept Garrus and Tali in despite the fact they could die but they are very popular and it;'s not so difficult to have that continuation for two characters but for all the characters there are just too many possibilities to have them as full squadmates would have been a nightmare to program.

Wonder what would happen if Garrus and Tali were killed during the suicide mission. Would be cool if we could get an ME2 companion to return and take their spot. Like Grunt or Zaeed for Garrus, and Legion or Kasumi for Tali.

ability. Also the Prothean likely has a Biotic ability too. His
abilities are likely even stronger than Asari biotics.

Also I
think Ashley may have softened up in her views a bit.  I wouldn't
imagine that a Xenophobe would accept a position as a Council Spectre.

Overload is not a biotic ability. It's tech.

I'm pretty sure he's descibed in-game as being just a regular soldier. I could still be wrong, but there's nothing to indicate he's a biotic.

My disappointment just keeps growing. Did EDI really need a character slot? I can't believe all the powerhouse's collected in 2 are just brushed aside. 

They aren't brushed aside, they just have more important things to do than tag along with Shepard.

Every single one? Really!? Galactic genocide and every single person from 2 sans Garrus and Tali have better things to do. There are so many things wrong with that.

Well yes, you as Shepard have a mission, to find a way to stop the reapers and gather as many allies as you can to fight them.  Everyone else probably has missions, but Garrus isn't a member of the Turian military or C-sec anymore, and Tali was made Vas Normandy.  And you're the only friend Liara has other than Feron, who can run Shadow Broker stuff while she's gone.  Jacob probably joined back with the Aliiance, Miranda might have gone with him, or be confronting her father, Legion needs to go back to the geth to report on his mission.  Grunt needs to join his clan on Tuchunka, Samara has a strong voice/Morinth needs to go back into hiding.  Mordin goes home to cure the genophage, thane probably wants to either spend his last days with his son or on the Hannar home world to pray for his dead wife.  Kasumi and Zaheed both have their contracts up, Jack find a purpose.  They all have important things to do, that probably turn into defending something from reapers, or seeking you out so you can tell them what needs doing.

Overload is a tech power, garrus is and always will be basically an infiltrator.  Part Tech expert, part soldier.

My problem isn't with some having biotic or tech, it's someone having *both*. Making Kaiden the only Sentinel, and him possibly dying because of your choice on the first game is a poor implementation of game design. Ever since enemies had defense bars in ME2 support classes like Miranda almost made her mandatory on the higher difficulties. I wouldn't even care if they had to come up with some cliche backstory but as long as EDI or the Prothean has access to both I'll be content.

Variables. I told you that by making all the ME2s killable for no good reason they put themselves in a bad position. Now they're just using their more popular Squaddies. The ones you loved in ME2? They're more of a siderole now.

At least they might not end up stranded and forced to either die or inbred til death.

Tali and Garrus are 2 of my favs but I need a KROGAN! And Mass Effect 2 characters like Morden and Leigon grew on my real quick! Why couldnt they have just given us a slot system this time and let us pick our 6 to 8 (whatever it is) Yeah some of you get your faves back but most of us dont. And for those of you whos favs are those like Tali and Garrus, what if you lost them in Mass 2 like my brother did last night lol? He was really looking forward to taking Tali and Garrus over to game 3 but lost them both in the end of 2 lol. Now NONE of his favs are party members in 3.
