A couple months ago I swapped out my ps3 hard drive for a bigger one and copied my ME2 saves over to the new HD. I had completed my playthrough on the old HD and there was a file related to ME2 named "Game Progress/Settings". What I'm wondering is: does anyone know if I will be able to import my Shepard into ME3 even though I beat the game on a different HD? What I understand about ME1 on the xbox 360 is you can only import saves into ME2 if you are using the same HD you completed the game on as there is an invisible auto-save when you beat the game that cannot be copied over. I apologize if no one can answer this since ME3 is not yet released but I appreciate any answers. Thank you.

Is it enough if you have only your ME2 savegame copy ?

Because you can't copy that other file named "Game Progress/Settings"...

I have a new ps3 and a copy of my old savegame of ME2.

I appreciate the replies, and thank you for the encouragement Luan It eases my concern. I know that it wouldn't be the end of the world if my choices didn't carry over but it's such an important aspect of the series and I wouldn't want to miss out on it.
