Log in in the social page with the count witch you can buy points and delete it. go to ->https://profile.ea.com/login.do<- log in with the Main count and push in the box called Wellcome xxxxx@yyyyy.com (at the bottom of the page) and click in the update my info. change the email for the count witch you can buy points.

Now you have to have all that you earned with the main count in the other count but now you can buy points

Iralogro !!!!

Following your exact instructions made it work, even though I have done the same (almost) several times before. I tried changing the email address for my account, but that didn't seem to help.  What did the trick I think is what Iralogro suggested: first creating a new account with the second email address, and then deleting it.

My old email address should have been valid; a gmail.com address containing no special characters or symbols. I can only guess that changing the email address in the manner described somehow triggers something in the account system that clears up the mess and makes it possible to buy points.

I haven't tried changing back to my primary email address yet, I will once I've bought some points.  I don't want my account associated with a temporarily created email address.  I'll report back once I've tried.

To summarize the procedure:
  • Create a new bioware social account using a (valid) second email address.
  • Make sure you can buy points with the new account.
  • Delete the new account (from social site).
  • Go to https://profile.ea.com and log in with the new account.
  • Change the email address to a (valid) third address.
  • Log out and once again go to https://profile.ea.com and login with you main account.
  • Change email address to the one you used when creating the new account.
  • Log in to the social site with main account and check if you can buy points.
The reason I had to changed the email address of the new account to a third address was that I wasn't allowed to use the email address (for my main account) since it was already in use (by the second account). (It's not possible to delete EA accounts, apparently.) Make sure all the email addresses are valid.

Thanks for all the help and I hope this works for everyone who has similar problems!

EDIT: I now have all the DLC I wanted. Tried changing back to my primary email address however and I can no longer access the points page.  This is really strange since my email address only contains normal "english" letters (a to z).

Why is there absolutely no information about this from official sources?

I tried the solution above but it didn't work. I even tried it three times but no one of my new accounts were available to buy Bioware Points. :(

I had this issue before DA:O came out in trying to join the social group... etc...
These are pretty much the exact instructions I followed to fix my issue.

I recommend this above post to anyone who is having problems.
