Remember how so many people fanraged over it and how the fans were so upset that in a second every character that they loved was gone? Now imagine that game went on for six years. Is this just some lame Sopranos-style trolling attempt or a serious attempt to get a post-campaign expansion going?

I do remember it, but I then remembered it was from Obsidian. 
Still, rocks fall, everybody dies couldn't be more literal there. And yeah, the expansion did get the main character to be safe and some of the party, but I never got to finish it.
