There is a lot of confused information about how stasis is working in the single mode, freezing the target in place but does no damage. I hope it will work the same as in the multiplayer. Does anyone have any information on this?

Most likely the same as in Multiplayer.

Tho i must say im quite surprised that they changed Stasis from ME2 so much. Especially the part that you can damage the stunned enemy makes this Biotic Power VERY strong.

I thought Stasis was fine in ME2 with just the Stun, especially against YMIR mechs, but now it's 10 times better with the AoE Bubble and the fact that you can damage the trapped victims.

As far as I know Liara will be the only character that gets stasis in SP (but don't hold me to it), otherwhise it is the same as in MP, and yes it is moderately OP

Stasis functioned about the same as it does in ME3 as it did in ME1 provided you took the Bastion upgrade. ME2 it was removed, then put back in but really nerfed. I for one am extremely happy to see it returned to its former glory.

Why not try it out with Liara in the Demo?  You can't quite level it all the way, but you can give it a go

(Though for the demo I prefer speccing her for pure Singularity spam)

Now we need to return other biotic powers to their formal glory. Like singularity for example: Youtube.

Tried. Leveled all the way in the SP, and tried with all sorts of different powers. Works exactly as MP.

The "new" Stasis is simply hearkening back to ME1 (something I've noticed in quite a few things) in which, if specced correctly, you could damage a target in Stasis. I would be very surprised if it doesn't work the same way in single-player.

Judging from the singleplayer portions of the demo... it works the exact same way as in multiplayer. I had Liara Stasis people then I would either shoot the target or do a Warp right behind it to cause a biotic explosion. Really, Samara should should have Stasis too, since it's an Asari ability; that's if she's a squad member in this game or not.

No thanks. I prefer a little challenge, not invincible god-mode. Go play on the easy difficulty setting if you want to be OP.

Stasis was a very good skill in Mass Effect 2. Even with stased enemy immune to damage, the crowd control was invaluable. That was balanced.

Now it's like a God tier skill when other signature skills of other classes are pretty crap.

ME2 Stasis is broken. Try to shoot an enemy immediately after the stasis field breaks - you can one-shot YMIRs, Primes and Scions on Insanity.

Stasis is not a signature skill in ME3.

Was it working as intended, or was it a bug, in Mass Effect 2 ?

My apologize, I talked about multiplayer in the last sentence.
