I would very much like an ending where the two are able to keep their promises to one another, regarding the lots of blue babies and whatnot.

YES!! That would be the most satisfying ending in my opinion.  A cutscene of Liara holding Shepard's asari baby and Shepard right next to her giving her a kiss.

I don't know, I'm kinda curious to see if Ashley Williams has augmented any other parts of her body when she got those Botox lips.

I'm sorry, that was kinda weird and creepy.

The main attraction of this game is your interaction with other characters, otherwise you would not talk to your crew after every vital mission. If your attracted to one of your crew members the game gives you actually opportunity to actually act on that attraction. If your character is a hard nosed soldier with no time for love then so be it, to have the option there is a part of what makes ME great.

Thus far, no. Considering I play as a FemShep, and I don't want my Shepard to romance any male human or alien alike. And I frankly doubt it that Miranda is allowed in the same-sex romance in Mass Effect 3, but if she was, I'd do it for the sake of the Achievemnt and completion, and because I absolutely loved Sarah Walker from Chuck, played by the same actress.

Y3Y00, my femshep equally, did not wish to romance anyone except Liara, something in ME1 just made it follow and ring spot on with my femshep, thus in the me2 no achievements, as many times as i tried just for the sake of it, the femshep has already developed in such a way that being mean and dangerous simply does not push the boundaries of seeking some other fling, but waiting to win Liara back in ME3

it is weird how i find myself not in direct control of how my character develops, almost like it's shepard's story and i'm just there for the ride.

It's important to me. I see it as a great aspect of the game and adds to the overall unique/awesome experience.
