Ever seen a soap opera? How they inject drama where it doesn't fit, so the writing, the acting and directing suffers? That's how it read, but there's no way to really feel the effect until you go through the whole campaign first.

that seems slightly disappointing.. oh well thank you for answer my question.

Just keep in mind that reading the ending is like watching the last ten minutes of a movie. It can be very telling of everything that cme beforehand or it could be genius when everything else is considered.

No. And I find it hard not to laugh at all the people that did. Ridiculous.

sadly, I found some stuff in this forum (no spoilers) that were spoilers. Before I could avert my eyes, too late brain already registered the images/content. shame shame..

<.< Man. In all seriousness, I've not read any of the leaks and have only been slightly spoiled; but is what every has read really so bad that it basically ruins the whole series? That seems... far-fetched. Is there nothing about the spoilers and leaks that you guys have seen and actually liked? No specific details, obviously.

In terms of story? Not really character development took a back seat and forced characters to take a role that would help with the war effort even if it contradicted their personality and cannon history.

I said it before and I'll say it again, ME3's selling point will be its gameplay. It's very good and you can have loads of fun playing this game. The story is not a selling point for this chapter.

I think this is spot on. A lot of people are going to be let down with how the dealt with ME's most precious asset: the characters. But the gameplay is going to severely cushion the blow

A lot of people, especially those here who have abstained from spoilers, will be very dissapointed with their faborite characters and how they turned out in this chapter. The new players who were enticed with the gameplay will be pleased with the improvements in that area and the mp. I normally don't use multiplayer that much, but I found it a lot of fun in ME3. The problem is without a compelling story, I can't really justify pre ordering or day 1 purchasing. If its just a fun 3rd person shooter then I'm going to wait. This will lessen my disappointment of the story if I'm not charged what I would pay for a game with a great story.

Those who ate playing blind and have been long time fans, trust me you will not get what you're expecting.

Nope. Anything good? Or are things as bad as people are making it seem?

I try to avoid spoilers whenever possible. I have, unfortunately, been spoiled on the DLC character and on what appears to be the game's big MacGuffin, but that's about it. I haven't come across any major plot or character spoilers, and I aim to keep it that way. I'll probably take a sabbatical from these forums once the weekend hits, just to be safe.

Somewhat, I have a general idea of how it ends (not exactly sure what causes the ending or what "stops" the reapers). That's about it though, so I don't consider myself too spoiled.

On quite a few things, no major plot spoilers but just a lot of minor stuff. I find it hard to stay away from new information ;).

Nope, did find out about the DLC character before it was officially released, but apart from that I am completely oblivious, haven't even played the demo.

I've been spoiled on here a couple of times. I'm going to try and stay away from the internet in the days running up to the release.

No, I just popped in to see what the fuss is about the DLC and to learn that my DDE might not include it... So nothing good came out of it, but at least no spoilers like for previous games, where some **** starts posting spoilers in thread names.

I've been spoiled a bit yes. Well a lot, I mean I know how it ends (or at least according to the leaked endings, I still hope it's not real). I'm a bit disappointed sure but maybe there's a positive side to it too? Like because I know how it's going to end, I'd pay more attention to character interaction and the characters itself. There's still that dreadful feeling though like I don't want it to end because "that" will happen. :crying:

I'll just vent all my frustrations in MP.

I've accidently stumbled across a few spoliers on BSN over the past few weeks, was going to keep myself clear of the spoiler threads until people started kicking up a huge fuss over the endings, so I caved and read the endings, but I know very little about the rest of the game.

Besides with something like these endings I'm glad not to going in blind with them (still hopeing nïvely that they arn't 100% real)
