I don't, however, know all the details of the character arcs. indeed, for some characters I have literally no idea what their stories are in ME3. And seeing as the characters are the main draw of this series for me - the main plot is good, but the characters really make it great imo - there's still plenty left for me to discover.

Overall I think I'll enjoy ME3 more or less like I've enjoyed ME and ME2, though as for ME2, for different reason than ME.
Not that the story it's completely bad (I thing I'm going to enjoy greatly the main missions) and I'm not too bothered from the endings, but there are too many moment when I'm going to think "WTF?".
Off-topic: I like that the ME3 them on BSN shows Italy.

He told me that the endings should at least be read in the most general terms so you have some time to think it over and get a understanding of it. I kinda of agree with him now with the magnitude of the endings.
I really think everyone complaining about the endings without playing it are going to change their minds.

I dont dare to go neare that part of the forum.
i dont even open it cus of the possebility that someone puts spoilers in the topic-headlines..
the only spoilers ive gotten is those found in talks about the ME3 CE DLC,
ofc i played the demo and have som insight into the game from it.
and ive watched pretty much every trailer released about the game and some
biowarepulse episodes.
i dont think the game has been spoiled in anyway for me becouse the spoilers ive gotten are kinda minor things "around" the game. the main plot i can kinda figure out from demo and trailers.
but its still nothing, cus anything can happen in the game..
i do go to good length trying to make sure to stay away from any topics and or forums or articles outside of BSN since moderation on comments there are weak at best. and i just know some asswipe kid is going to post as many spoliers they can to ruin it for others when they get there hands on info... same reason i use a headset while in MP demo and will in full MP..
if someone starts talking about the game just tear them of my head. instead of trying to find the mute button. mabey im paranoid in that sence. but i dont trust underaged players. never have never will :PpP

In terms of story? Not really character development took a back seat and forced characters to take a role that would help with the war effort even if it contradicted their personality and cannon history.
I said it before and I'll say it again, ME3's selling point will be its gameplay. It's very good and you can have loads of fun playing this game. The story is not a selling point for this chapter.
I think this is spot on. A lot of people are going to be let down with how the dealt with ME's most precious asset: the characters. But the gameplay is going to severely cushion the blow
so my fear of not having drew in the crew and thus getting story and character that is no up to par with the other 2 games is real then?
only thing i cared about in these games was CHARACTERS and story. gameplay i could care less about.
if its true they ruined the Sole of the game. i will seriously bee sad.
you making me worry the game will suck like the book by waltz...........

I haven't spoiled anything too major yet.
I don't know why or how the f*** I haven't, and I've been on BSN literally all day every day since last Wednesday.
Rofl. I thought i was the only one lurking these forums 24/7
I'm afraid you're not, lol.
Every-damn-day goes a little something like this: "Maybe I should finish playing Deus Ex: HR while I wait for Mass Effect 3... Mass Effect 3... Mass Effect 3... I bet BSN has some cool news about it-*BSN for the rest of the day*."
This is me even though im meant be finishing mass effect 2 off LOL

For the first time, I'm pleased that us Europeans get the game two or three days late. There's no way I'm missing out on the carnage.

I've spoiled some (not most) of the broad strokes, but I figure that's okay because the series has always been about the little details for me.
A good friend of mine actually spoiled the ending out of some sadistic sense of humour he has, I'm not kidding... I nearly thumped him. Still pissed off at him a tad, but I also have the same outlook as the poster I quoted, I like the little details more, so the rest of the game is a mystery to me.
Funnily enough though, the ending that I was told is really similar to how I actually thought the game would end so I'm not that bothered as some people are.
