 So like the title says. Who else thinks that biotics get the short stick again and switches to a different class? Maxed all powers for all classes in the demo for the test on insanity, took into account the slower cooldown of biotics due to extra useless weapons included, and reduced the cooldowns.

So I am switching from Adept to Soldier, as Soldier is a lot more effective imo.

Who else?

Oh, and don't confuse with MP. Asari Adept is god, due to some skills/evolutions missing from the soldier.

Soldier? Ew.

No, In fact I'm going more biotic. Changing my Vanguard to an Adapt. And Liara is my main companion, so theres gonna be a lot of blue magic **** flying around hahah. I don't care about effectiveness and I deffenitly don't care about insane mode. I just play what I think if fun. And biotics are fun.

I'd play anything besides a soldier.
Past experience has left me this list from boring classes to fun classes.

I love the soldier now because of multiplayer, more specifically the Krogan soldier... the human variety still stinks if you ask me.

Adept has always been my class of choice because exerting control over the battlefield just feels satisfying to me.

Which part of: "Maxed all powers for all classes in the demo for the test on insanity."
Suggests I never played a vanguard?

Probably that all powers can't be maxed at the same time in the demo, and there's the matter about recharge times before any arguments about 'effectiveness' can be given any credibility.

I said that I maxed all powers, means exactly that. It's called modding, I don't care what game allowed in the first place. I also said that I took into account the recharge timers and reduced those for biotics, it's all in OP.

Warp explosions will dominate insanity. Especially if you have Liara doing the same thing.

It's not gonna be like that in the real game. The recharge times will be back to normal, provided you don't carry all the guns with you at once. They made you carry them all, I think it was so people could see how all the guns worked.

Adept all the way, cant live without combo explosions...

Even in ME2 i play other classes like that. I pick 2 biotics crew mates and combo with them instead of bothering with my own boring skills :D .

The various explosions/bursts they've put into the game has made the various powers more powerful in my opinion to the point that I might replay ME2 to make a Sentinal playthrough first instead of the Soldier that I've planned on doing.

The ability also to affect shieded and/or armored targets with explosions is quite the improvement.

Soldier->Engineer->Adept->Infiltrator->Sentinel->Vanguard

Soldier->Sentinel->Infiltrator->Engineer->Vanguard->Adapt

Thats my rankings for ME3, which is fairly different then ME2.  Sentinel used to be #2 and Vanguard was #1 but the new cooldown penalty on Sentinels armor makes it almost worthless to me and I guess tastes just change as for Adapt overcoming Vanguard.  Then Engineer also switched with Infiltrator.  I love them flamethrower turrets.

You have a soldier with various ammo powers to affect both shields and armor. The ammount of damage soldier tosses out with maxed class skill and maxed ammo is ridicilous, even on insanity. Biotic/Tech explosions are inferior.

I'll keep my biotic toon, but i still have my solider. following your line here: i enjoy to i cant stand.
Solider > Sentinel > engineer > adept > infiltrator + Vanguard ( never could get into thoes two)

If anything I'm looking forward to playing Biotics even more, with their improved effectiveness at higher difficulties.

I didn't say they were better, but I don't think they're inferior either.

Some powers got the nerf bat, other powers got boosts, but the changes they made concerning how the powers affect the various enemies in ME3 has made them better overall.

nobody is arguing that soldier have higher dps, but while setting up those "inferior combos" we are also able to manipulate the battlefield. drop a singularity or stasis bubble and the enemy can no longer flank you. Warp + throw staggers an atlas, preventing it from attacking and weakening armor. Unprotected enemies can be instakilled in some situations. its just a different playstyle. i am actually looking forward to trying adept out on insanity this time around, as these explosions are showing some potential

I disagree. With the right weapon set up, modes and armor, a biotic on insanity would be amazing crowd control while you bring to heavily armed squad mates around to eat everything else alive.

That is, if MP is anything to judge off of.

Oh, if biotics worked like they did in ME1, I wouldn't even consider Soldier.
