Interesting issue with ME2 dlcs, potential issues for ME3?

A friend of mine is...very naughty, and they downloaded some dlcs :bandit:, rather than purchased them. 

With the release of ME 3 in less than a week, he's worried about their playthrough being corrupt and "un-transferable".  
Is he right to be worried?

Doubt it. Weapons and armour DLC's wont matter. The game would only read plot flagging DLC's, not the owner's EA/Bioware account, as that would have required foresight.

EDIT - if your that worried about it, load up a blank install of ME2, get past the initial mission, save it. Then open it up in save editor and flag all the story elements you want.

(i rar'd up my original save before i used the editor on my save to give me crap tons of resources as i heard the probability that it might make a difference in ME3's readiness meter)
