Well if the Patch 1.05 released for DA:O transform the second installment into the first game I would definitely give it a try. Hence I thought that the next patch for DA:2 will have the number 1.04?

Get real... They are TWO different games for a reason. They aren't MEANT to be the same thing at all.

Edit: Oh and if someone comes up with a cheeky comment like "But DAO was the better game" or something Warden related, I'm telling you right now that your argument ain't going to work with me.

I'm still on thread and you started it. Good job. You're the one who went off-topic with your Dragon Age Origins rambling.
People's mentality on Dragon Age II "Oh this is not Dragon Age Origins, boo hoo!" is seriously ticking me off. I'd love to enjoy going on communities and talk about the game without people shoving down their hatred down my throat.

What, we’re talking about a patch called 1.05? And if it is true that the 1.05 patch for DA:O changes the game play in DA:2 I would definitely give it a go, like I said. Once again watch your tone and stay on topic!

If it exists (this is the first I've heard of it), then HOPEFULLY, it fixes the save file corruption issues with MotA. I've been afraid to actually play either of the DLCs because I didn't want my game getting screwed up.

Actually, I think that the OP refers to DA:O, not to DA:2. In line with the patch history (PC) the next patch for DA:2 should be called 1.04  not 1.05. Or is there already a patch on PS3 with the name 1.04?

It might be the resolve for the Mark of assassin save corruption bug, they did mention trying to fix that.

I play DA2 on PS3 and my current version is listed as 1.04. I think the PS3 has been one number ahead of other systems for a while now. I can't remember exactly why. Extra problems on PS3 I guess.

It was tropy patch for I think it was legacy that put us ahead.

My version of DA2 was 1.03. I saw a steam notice today that DA2 got upgraded. Now my DA2 is listed as version 1.04. Checked the readme file of my installation, it was modified March 1, 2012. It contains the fixes listed here:

I am so happy about this patch!! I get my two handers back properly (Fenris and warrior Hawke). Yea! And bonus, Legacy dialogue/banter is fixed as well. (Looking again at you, Fenris)

Ok ad the ending battle in Legacy? lol that was major problem if i remember

Patch seems to be working great! Took my 2hnder for a spin in Legacy. Sunder was working BEAUTIFULLY! And got new banters as well. Thank you BW for the fix.
