 After the decisions are made at the end of Mass Effect 3, players will watch as their final hoorah to save to galaxy is placed before them. After one of the "so called" endings is revealed, the true hidden ending commences...

Screen begins to black out and from the dark depths a familiar voice appears

Ashley: "Doctor? Doctor Chakwas? I think hes waking up."
Dr. Chakwas: "You had us worried there, Shepard. How are you feeling?"

Shepard laying down in the Normandy SR1 medical bay, he sits up as the camera zooms into his face. A dramatic silent pause grows ever so present. Then a message appears on the screen.
It reads:

"Please Insert Mass Effect 1 Disc"

........................... Commander Shepard Is going to have some serious Deja Vu because the true ending to ME3 is Comander Shepard finally waking up from his first vision from the Prothean Beacon on Eden Prime!! The whole Mass Effect series is a playthrough of Shepard's vision of the events to come. After the player places their ME1 disc into the tray, they will begin their journey again after the vision. 

So lo and behold folks, the true ending to Mass Effect 3 is Shepard waking up from a cat nap on steroids. Though the real question still remains: Is Comander Shepard really awake this time, or is he still in a never ending vision that truly has no end. You then sit there and feel sorry for poor poor Shepard and then realize, sitting in the dark space of your room, That You Are Harbinger Assuming Direct Control Of Shepards Vision!!! 

And you all thought Bioware was giving you horrible endings.... pish posh applesauce shame on you all.

Actually, that's probably the only ending that could be any worse than the leaked ones (it would mean that none of ME1, 2, or 3 actually occurred - meaning they stretched out the story and made us pay for things under the guise that it meant something when it was all simply a dream).

Someone on another forum suggested something very similar and everyone tore them down. :/

Though my creative mind may have gotten the best of me here, if this was the actual ending there would be some serious disc snapping. In all actuality, I don't mind having multiple endings for the possibility of one grand ending as opposed to an extremely horrible single ending with no possible better conclusion

Actually, what would make that ending really cool is if based upon the ending you got in ME3 and you go to your ME1 disk to start off back in the medbay, Shep realizes he's not only seeing a future but he technically also lived it. The ME1 disk you have in your game then has Shepard create a few different things based upon Shepard's class.

I agree with FiveFingaslap But there would have to be an 'Ultimate Ending' after playing all six classes (let's not be unreasonable, say 3)

Reviving a 10 day old topic , but this would have been a better ending than the ones found in the game.We would know the events , but things could happen differently leaving alot of possibilities open.A far easier way to do ME4 or spin off's in the same universe.It's not original but in this way it would have been so much better.
