Well i now notice ofc i lost all my saved games..thats fine as i intend to replay the game from scratch, but what happened to the DLC i payed for..is it all gone or can i download it again ? Or was it restricted to my old character that vanished with the savegames.

Unless very simple fixes work (Reloading installed content, reinstalling game). You're out of luck. Dragon Age HAS NO SUPPORT TAB. Just this forum that equally clueless people use to solve their problems. My DLC is also rigged. While Sulcher's pass shows up, I cannot talk to felix. 15 dollars for an NPC that doesn't talk. Much like Felix, someone smart enough to help you, will not talk.
I'm actually bantering in an effort to get SOMETHING done. Consider this a bump.

Your DLC is tied to your EA account. If you log into the game with the account you used to purchase the DLC, it will appear under the Downloadable Content screen for you to download again.

Step it up James. Him logging into separate account is SO unlikely. Whether it is the cause of the symptom or not, I can go ahead and tell you. You didn't help him. Who signs up for DLC to log into ANOTHER name? In all of nightwolf's talking I don't see one thing about him switching accounts.
Determine MORE conditions for whats going wrong instead of offering such scant solutions. Oh, and nightwolf, EA DOES have a support tab. But their success rate is about 140 in 3000.

TsoBadGuy, OP just asked the question that whether he can download again and James answered it. Don't put your frustration on him, he is trying to help.

Your DLC should apply to all characters. A couple of things to check. Does the content still appear under the 'Installed Content' tab and is it not listed as unauthorized. Is your cd key installed, we've noticed a number of issues with DLC content not authorizing people properly if their cd key isn't installed in the registry properly.
To confirm if its installed.
- Run the daoriginsconfig.exe application
- On the bar on the left of the screen click 'Game'
- There will be box near the lower part of the window called Product Keys
- Confirm that you have a cd key is listed in this box
- If there is no cd key listed, navigate to the data directory on your installation cd and run 'Dragon Age_code.exe'
- If you do not have a cd key installed this exe will allow you to re-enter it
