They have . it's just most don't follow the procedures.Especially if the main manager for a section isn't there that day/night or week and you got a younger guy or girl managing.

Exactly.

And this is one case where their training, and what they should actually do, are at odds.  Their CS training would say you want the customer to leave happy...so what's the harm in selling ONE copy to the guy who grabbed it off the shelf BEFORE the cashier notified electronics that the game was on the floor before it should be.

They shouldn't sell it.  I know there are times when it happens (with movies, CD's, and games) that they do.

I hope that my local gamestop is willing to part with it a few days early.

Gamestop will only break street date if there is a widespread break by "someone". A single copy sold by some random walmart won't do it. Now, if...as the day goes on...it becomes apparent that Wally world has put their stock out en masse....then maybe.

Huh... You know, I don't know why, but I was sure that that giant N7 logo on the boxart was just a bland placeholder. Shame the regular game gets better cover art than the CE.

Box art is pretty similar to the ME2 collectors...no? They're consistent, at least.

That would be so awesome and also if EA unlocks it on origin as well.

They won't do that unles EVERY store in a chain (maybe just an entire region) breaks the street date early.

Lol, I thought the litograph was way bigger than that. I wasn't excepting it to be as big as an poster. But that thing is the size of a ****ing postcard.

Depends.

When Target broke street on , other retail outlets (Walmart, Gamestop, etc) have quickly followed suit.

But it had to be ALL the Targets...not just one or two.

It's happened with other chains, too.

On the flip side, a bunch of Targets broke street on Infamous 2...and nobody followed suit.  It wasn't ALL Targets, but it was a significant portion of them (and they even marked the price down, to boot).

Having worked there , they are not suppose to be selling the game until launch day.In the end it doesn't matter though.

Yeah no kidding, what's the publisher gonna do? Remove their games from the largest retailer?

Ah, two discs. I wonder if we'll be able to install both discs but only use the one.

I actually like the boxart for the Standard Edition better... 0o I wonder if Gamestop will allow me to swap the CE box for a SE one. They can keep all the physical items (except for the patch - I want that), just let me keep all the DLC... and the patch.

Actually...in the interest of full disclosure...the KIDS have milk (which I went out and bought).  I have a Jalepeno Cheddar breakfast sandwich and Coffee from Panera bread.

None of us have ME3.

You can find the complete box art "out there" to be printed to scale.  Granted, not the same stock as the cover you'd get at retail.

But you can print the cover version you want (Male or Female Shep), cut it out, and use an empty case.....

The Irony is that Europe has to wait till the 9th because of something walmart did almost 20 years ago.

now they sell early copies and Europe won't even get an early copy at all.
